Square Enix Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster NINTENDO SWITCH REGION FREE JAPANESE VERSION

This version is leaps and bounds better than what we got in the NA version. Instead of having one half of the game on the card and another as a digital download, the Japanese version has both already on the game card and as a plus has the English audio and subtitles too. Price is a little steep but worth if you would like to own both X and X2.

FF X and X-2 HD RM JP version has everything on the cart. No DLC codes nor any of that extra download BS from the other versions that were released for the Switch.Pop it into your system and you are good to go.When I got the U.S. Version for the Switch, I thought that Square Enix had all of their corners covered for all regions. But apparently not, as both U.S. and Europe only had X on the cart with Square Enix giving ya BS download code in the case for the player to download the rest to their SD card. I gave that version a 3 out of 5 for which ya could find over there for the cheap out job that had taken place. The download codes as of the recording of this date most likely no longer work for those versions, which is why everyone was up in arms about the cheap out job in the first place. Shutting people out of all the rest of the content as compared to keeping it all together on the same cart at launch.But for Japan and APAC regions, there was no such cheapout job, as Sqaure Enix choose to go the extra mile for them to have all the content on the cart.I don't understand who came to the decision of cheaping out for the rest of the world.But it all comes down to whoever was looking over the data in Japan before determining which parts of the world they assumed would go along with the cheapout job over those who wouldn't the most. Thus the domestic market got the better end of the stick, while everywhere else got cheaped out.If ya want a physical copy of X and X-2 on the Switch this is one to go fetch. So what if it may cost extra money to import it in. At least ya know if something goes wrong with your Switch System in the future, ya don't have to go through all the extra technical BS related to DRM.

The West only had one game in a cartridge while the other via digital code only, meanwhile the import has two in one cartridge.Luckily the import can be played in English. I did the same with Legend of Mana. I'll eventually get the other Final Fantasy games.

Arrived in perfect condition, Only knocking a star off for being so expensive but I wanted everything on one cartridge and this version does that.

Everything in the production description is 100% accurate. Sure, this costs twice as much as the US release that has 10-2 as a download like every other US version of this release for all platforms, but this is FF10 HD Remastered + FF10-2 HD Remastered on a single cart, 10-2 is not a digital download. The box art is white which is what the Collectors edition in the USA uses. The Switch is region-free and the games are as well. It features all known language tracks (the two most people are interested in are Japanese and English) and subtitles and will play the proper combination based on the region your Switch is set to, but you can't mix different region tracks with another (i.e no Japanese audio with English subs). From what I've seen this version is based off the PS4 version which doesn't suffer from the audio glitch where audio restarts after a battle, and you can choose which soundtrack to use (the new arranged one or original and can change it in the menu even after starting a new game), and the textures are better than the PS3/360 version but obviously not as good as the PS4 version (for obvious reasons), you do have the quick recovery menu on the left side that the Vita version introduced so you can heal without going through menus, but there aren't any other tweaks like you have with the Steam version (fast forward, disable random encounters, auto save), it also has a quick menu for Aeons to toggle between a normal and short animation length. This version also runs at a full native 720p in handheld mode and a full native 1080p in docked mode and almost never goes below 30fps, the resolution and screen size increase make this significantly better than the Vita version and looks extremely crisp in both modes, esp handheld due to the DPI of the screen. I imagine it would even better on a Switch OLED.

On one of the boss battles early on the game, mid fight it keeps closing down the game. Which means I can’t move on any further in the game because it keeps saying “card error” when I try to beat the boss. 1 star for waste of time.

love this game, plays well on the switch on the go and wanted to have it all on cartridge no need to download any of it so got the Japanese version. It has English langue and subtitles. Well worth the extra over the English release if a fan of the game.

Buen juego, solo quería cambiar el idioma a japonés pero no se puede a menos que cambies la región de la consola.

Ich habe mir diese Version des Spieles gekauft weil diese die einzige ist mit beiden Games und Addons auf der Gamekarte ! Ich habe mich schon auf 3-4 Wochen Lieferzeit eingestellt weil ich schon bei Kauf darauf hingewiesen wurde. Jedoch war das Game schon 10 Tage nach Kauf schon in Top Zustand und Top verpackt angekommen. 100 Euro ist zwar viel Geld aber wenn man die kompletten Games auf Karte haben möchte ist das der einzige weg. Ich möchte 10 Sterne für das Game und auch für den Verkäufer geben.

Esta versión cuenta con ambos juegos incluidos dentro del cartucho, con textos en español y voces en japonés. Recomendada para los seguidores que quieren tener la mejor edición que hay para Nintendo Switch.
