This Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner is AMAZING! I had no idea there was anything like this on the market! To receive professional cleaning results from a product that was so reasonably priced was a huge surprise to me! I was led to believe that the only way I would ever receive professional cleaning results was to take my beautiful wedding ring to the jewelers to be professionally cleaned. My Google-found method of cleaning my diamonds with a toothbrush and toothpaste was abhorrent to my custom jeweler and he begged me to NEVER do that again but please return to him for professional results that wouldn't damage the setting. But what was I to do? My ring was designed with many intricate smaller diamonds surrounding a brilliant oval-cut diamond and those delicately set baguettes were easily and quickly covered with pollutants of day-to-day living. I simply could NOT run to the jewelers every week (he preferred every 'day') to keep his custom design shining in its full glory. To him, this was his business card. Whenever I did get in to clean it, he was heart-broken at how dirty it had become. Then I stumbled on this machine and I thought surely it was a sham but I read the reviews anyway and review after review gave it glowing reports. This sounded too good to be true but how could that many people, even people in the jewelry business, be wrong, or at the very least 'enhancing' their reviews? I looked at the price and decided to give it a try. It wasn't so much money that if it did turn out to be false-advertising, I certainly wouldn't be in financial ruin. My goodness, my husband and I have spent double that for a nice meal at our favorite steak and seafood place. I decided to order it with the cleaning solution and cloth. And Oh My. I could hardly believe the results and questioned if my own eyes were deceiving me. My beautiful wedding ring looked as brilliant when taken out of its first cleaning as it did at the jewelry store. I, and my husband, were in flat-out amazement. It looks now, every single day, like it just came from a jewelers display case. Stunning and gorgeous. To be honest, I may have over-done the first time, but I knew my ring was dirty and it would take a bit of cleaning to get it jewelry-store fresh. On first use I filled the casing with tap water as directed, and added 4 capfuls of the 'BLITZ Gem & Jewelry Cleaner (concentrate)' that I purchased with it, and which is made for use in all Ultrasonic and Jewelry Cleaning Machines, again using the amount suggested on the label. I set the MAGNASONIC to its highest setting, 480, which represents seconds, and the other choices are 180, 280, 380, 480 and 90. I ran it through the first time, rinsed it and was stunned but it still didn't look perfect, so I ran it through another 480 cycle. When I rinsed again, I was in awe. It had that brilliant jewelry-store shine that I would never had believed I could get from any home-care machine. I am now making it a practice of putting my ring in the MAGNASONIC every morning for a quick, refreshing shine while I am in the shower. Everyday I look down in stunned amazement at my ring, just as I did for days after my husband first gave it to me, enjoying the brilliant sparkle and Cinderella feel. I have gone from from skeptic to salesperson, sharing with all my friends and family as to how amazing the MAGNASONIC is. I have not tried any of the 'home-remedies' found in the various reviews, referring to the different chemicals people use in their machine rather than the cleaning solution I purchased with it. I have though, used simply water and have found that once my ring is clean, there is no purpose to adding the cleaning solution each time. I simply want to remove any of the daily build-up and water has proven to work just fine once it is truly clean. I have used it on one of my expensive watches that I had been complaining needed cleaning, and it cleaned it beautifully and was grateful for the added Watch-Stand feature that comes with the product. I did not need the cloth I purchased with it but will use it for cleaning other items. It was simply advertised with it. It has cleaned my costume jewelry as well as my high-end pieces and to be honest, in some cases it has made some of my costume jewelry look high-end! I am absolutely thrilled with this product and recommend the MAGNASONIC to anyone who, especially like me, are skeptical that something designed for home use could produce such professional results. Our Sweethearts spend their hard-earned money on purchasing the most beautiful piece of jewelry they can afford as a symbol of their love for us. Shouldn't we be respectful of that beloved symbol enough to want to keep it sparkling and beautiful? When a product lasts for years, and you immediately replace it with the same model, that's the best review I can give. It does an excellent job cleaning jewelry, eyeglasses, watch bands, and other small items. The ultrasonic cleaning makes a noticeable difference, especially on pieces with hard-to-reach areas. The digital timer and multiple cleaning modes make it easy to customize each cleaning cycle. If you're looking for a dependable ultrasonic cleaner for jewelry, glasses, or other small valuables, I highly recommend this one. It's reliable, effective, and well worth the investment. Note: It can be a little noisy while running, but that's expected with ultrasonic cleaners.

I purchased this cute little ultrasonic cleaner in 2018. It’s still going strong. I’ve dropped it a few times and I cracked the lid, but it still works like a champ. Sometimes they use the basket and sometimes I don’t. I wish the timer ran longer, but an eight minute timer should get most things sufficiently clean. The size is perfect and it fits a lot of jewelry in the basket. It’s pretty quiet, but you can hear the humming of the ultrasonic element. Overall, I would say I was very pleased with this. Eight years going strong and I’ve not had to replace it. And I use it almost every other day.

I have used industrial ultrasonic cleaners for a couple of decades when I worked in R&D labs, but never had a home unit. Browsed these units on Amazon and selected this one due to the good reviews. It came today and I gave it a real challenge. I had a felt tip marker that uses fountain pen ink that had dried up a year or two ago and had not been cleaned out until last weekend. The ink (Noodler's Kung Te-Cheng) was like blue tar and it took many rinsings and soakings in pen flush and warm water to remove it from the open barrel. The grip section has numerous fins inside that control the ink flow to the replaceable felt tip. No way to flush this out, but I had soaked it in pen flush for some days, and even a bleach solution to no effect. Since the grip is clear I could see what was happening to it in the Magnasonic. Put a cup of warm water with a squirt of ammonia and Dawn detergent into the bath and in went the pen section. Wow! a cloud of ink came out big time. A couple of minutes the 8oz water was deep blue. Replaced the cleaning solution and the pen section was cleaner. Repeated two or three times and finally I got all the ink out of the section. Could never have gotten all the ink out without an ultrasonic cleaner. Then, just to see, I dropped the replaceable felt tip into the solution. This consists of a plastic holder that fits snugly into the grip, a tiny felt bullet tip and a 1 inch long tiny tube (1/16 inch diameter). It was filled with dried ink. Well, the tiny tip floated in the solution and blue ink boiled out of both ends. A few minutes and it was completely cleaned of ink! So in went a fountain pen nib/feed/grip section that had been well cleaned out with pen flush using an ear syringe until no more ink residue came out. But, in the Magnasonic a gray cloud erupted from both ends of the section and continued for a couple of minutes and stopped. Now this pen section was cleaned to normal standards, but the Magnasonic removed all the minute residue from the nib and feed which would have been important if I had wanted to use a lighter color ink in it. Then I cleaned a gold ring with a sardonyx intaglio cut stone. The back of the ring under the stone is open and collects body oils. Immediately a cloud came out of the ring and in a minute it was clean. In went a pair of eyeglasses (Dawn detergent only, no ammonia just to be on the safe side). A cloud came out from the nose pieces. In a minute I rinsed them off and wiped them with a clean microfiber cloth. Beautifully cleaned. I am amazed at how well this machine cleans. I got the Blitz cleaner but have not used it, saving it for jewelry. Remember, this machine WILL NOT POLISH OR REMOVE TARNISH. But it cleans off dirt, oil grease, and residue wonderfully well, getting deep into micro crevices. The instructions say to start with water, but water will only remove loose stuff. Several drops of dishwasher detergent will remove all kinds of gunk. I am glad I got this Magnasonic Ultrasonic Cleaner. I wish the lid came off as I like to watch the cleaning action and you only need it on to keep the chamber clean. I rinsed and dried it before I put the machine away. Easy to use, one button starts, one button stops, one lets you cycle through 180, 280, 380, 480, and 90 second cleaning cycles. The stop button lets you stop and restart the cycle you were using. When unplugged it will reset to 180 seconds the next time it is plugged in. Nice basket and a watch band fixture to clean WATER PROOF watches (not water resistant). I also cleaned my small Victorinox Swiss Army knife in it to get the pocket lint, etc. out.

Just had to add to the positive reviews of this great little device! I wasn't sure, at first, if it was worth it, even at the discounted price, since it sounds a bit "gimmicky," the whole ultrasonic cleaning thing, but that's what's great about Amazon, is reading the experiences of others, so I gave it a try, because I have eyeglasses that constantly need cleaning of course, plus I have a few watches that I wasn't really wanting to pay a jeweler to clean and polish. I purchased "Blitz Gem and Jewelry Cleaner" along with this, and that's what I used. The machine worked GREAT!!! Put in the water, put in some cleaning solution, put in my item, shut the lid and hit the button, which has options for how long you want it to clean, and it counts down and shuts off when it's done. Easy breezy! Results were downright unexpectedly awesome! My eyeglasses have NEVER been this clean and I now do this "deep" clean once a week, and it makes it much easier during the week when just cleaning the lenses, since this deep clean makes them look BRAND NEW and gets all the grubby stuff (sorry, gross maybe, I know) off of every crevice where lens cleaning can't reach, so no smears now when I'm trying to clean the lenses. I was honestly very surprised, since it doesn't appear that much is happening. You hear a noise, the water gets warmer inside, and you can see the water start to get slightly murky as dirt comes off your item and into the water, but wow, pull out the item and you sure can see a HUGE difference in cleanliness and it's clear this device is doing it's job. I did my regular glasses, and my sunglasses, and they've never looked better, seriously! I next did a few watches, and for sure this is my new "go to" device for cleaning. Watches looked fantastic, and every nook and cranny was clean and shiny. Again, looked brand new, just like my glasses. And, if you just want to do the bracelet of the watch (let's say the watch itself is not waterproof) you can use the provided plastic arch to keep the watch face out of the liquid. And of course it also has the basket, if you had small stuff to clean, to lift the stuff out before dumping out the liquid. I would agree with others on the one drawback that you do have to take care in dumping it out. Would be great if it had a removable inside container, but it doesn't, and no pour spout. The cleaning basket is cool, works well, and comes in handy to take stuff out before you dump it, but you have to physically pick up and dump the entire machine to dump the water/solution out and my only worry would be, if it was done in a rush or done sloppily (especially because it has no pour spout or anything to help make dumping it out a bit easier), it seems liquid could perhaps spill into the machine itself, especially along the sides where the plastic parts meet (spilled water could certainly get inside). Or, just not holding it tight enough and you could drop the whole thing and maybe damage it. But, ones I've seen with a removable inner container are more pricey, and not as well reviewed, so I was willing to put up with this minor inconvenience, and, thus far, taking care in emptying it, there hasn't been any issues. Just get near a sink, determine which way you're going to dump it, get a good grip (doesn't weigh much, even with liquid inside -- holds maybe a cup, or a bit more, of liquid, is my best guess) and give it the heave ho to quickly turn it into the sink so it's a straight, clean dump of the water/solution. For a mere forty bucks it is well worth it, for sure! Just the ability to clean items so thoroughly, at home, whenever you want or need to, is spectacular and I'm sold for sure on the power of ultrasonic cleaning. No trips to the jeweler means this will certainly pay for itself in a short period of time. I also tried a bit of diluted, mild dish soap, and that worked as well, although the jewelry cleaning solution seems tailor made for the job at hand. I just wanted to see if the solution did a better job than regular soap, and it seemed to, so I'd advise a jewelry cleaning solution -- but even with just soap it still cleaned better than a hand washed effort in the sink, so this truly does what it says! It's honestly not something I ever would've considered buying, until coming across it when looking for a watch, and then reading reviews of it, but I'm really glad I did get it, and thanks Amazon reviewers for sharing your experiences! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Very nice cleaner. I bought to replace former cleaner that finally stopped working (probably 10 years old!). This cleaner is smaller (outside size), but still has all the features I like and plenty of room for what I clean (mostly jewelry). I keep it full of water and cleaner under my bathroom sink. It does not leak and is always ready to plug in and do a quick clean of my rings while I shower. My jewelry comes out sparkling and stays cleaner longer when I use this ultrasonic cleaner and cleaning solution. Very happy with this purchase.

Love this product! I bought a cheaper one about a year ago and it gave up on me, so I decided to upgrade a little and I don’t regret this purchase! For only $40, this cleaner left my glasses without any smudges, and left my jewelry looking brand new. I recently bought a silver chain from a vintage store that was black from oxidation, and this left it looking brand new! Great quality looking cleaner as well and good value for your money, as it comes with a basket fitted to the well to protect the metal from you objects, a nice lid, and it doesn’t leak. While it doesn’t control temperature, I don’t think it needs to, as I’ve been able to use it with warm water and colder water with no problems (if warmer water, I suggest leaving the lid open so that condensation doesn’t occur). I like that I can pick how much time it runs, since some things are just a quick clean. Emptying it is a little tedious, since the machine doesn’t have a way to remove the well without lifting the whole cleaner, hence why I put 4 stars instead of 5. I’m worried this could affect the cleaner in the long run, but hopefully not! However, for $40, I shouldn’t ask for too much! For transparency, the first cleaner I got seemed to have issues with the timer. I would set it to 480 seconds, the timer would run until about 300 seconds left, and then return to 480 and endlessly repeat. However, I reached out to the company and let them know, and I had a new one the next day! So rest confident in knowing that if this happens to you, I’m sure they will help you in the same way. One small complaint that I have that is just me being a perfectionist, is that I don’t understand why it starts at 80 seconds and you can only increment by 100s after. Why not just 60 seconds and increment by the minute? But this is just me being me, and is nothing negative about the machine. Just my own little confusion. :)

Hace unas semanas comenté que no funcionaba al 100%, sin embargo un joyero me comentó que al agua le pusiera jabón de trastes (use salvo lo de una tapa de refresco) y 10 ml de alcohol. Puse dos veces en el Tiempo máximo unas pulseras de plata con mucho oxido (prácticamente se veían negras) y salieron prácticamente limpias. Después limpié el aparato, puse agua limpia (sin agregar más nada) y volví a poner las pulseras dos veces en tiempo maximo. Por último con un paño retire el agua excedente. DE VERDAD ES MUCHA DIFERENCIA SI PONEN EL JABON CON EL ALCOHOL. La primera vez solo puse jabón (igualmente salvo) y me la pase literal todo el día limpiando dos cadenas. Claro que recomiendo el aparato 😃
