We were using plastic cutting boards for a long time until it dawned on me that trace amounts of the plastic may be making their way into our food over time. Not what we want. I researched where I usually research at Andrew Weil's site and he stated that he is using bamboo. The reviews of these CC Boards were generally positive so we wanted to try them also. We were not disappointed. What we love: the handles, the attractive appearance, the variety of sizes and the fact that they clean up easily. We did not notice any splinters; the boards are very smooth and do not retain indentations from the knives. Very satisfied with our purchase and would recommend to all.

These are the cutting boards I've been searching for. Beautiful whether you choose to oil them or not. (The company provides oiling/non-oiling suggestions.) They are light weight and each has a bevelled rectangle for catching all those marvelous run-a-way juices (or water if your chopping veggies). Thanks for yet another great product.

I really like these cutting boards. The two tone wood appearance is a nice look. The grooved side works great when cutting meat and collects the juices. The three sizes of boards is great and very convenient. The surface of the boards certainly absorbs knife cuts easily enough. After carving brisket, chicken, and turkey, the boards do not show much if any knicking from the blades. I did pre-treat these boards with butcher block wax before using them. They clean up easily enough with mild soap and water. I really like the wooden boards over the plastic. I have broken plastic boards while preparing chicken wings with a meat cleaver. These boards seem to be much more rugged.

These are very nice boards. I am using them primarily for serving cheese, bread, etc as well as cutting things. I am impressed with the company and their suggestions for care of boards as well as concern that I am completely satisfied. They carry a lifetime warranty which seems unusual to me. These are different from typical boards in that they recommend you oil the boards periodically. I don't mind, I just slather on coconut oil whenever I think of it. I anticipate these will develop a beautiful seasoning over time. They are thicker than typical board so a bit more bulky for storage but I find I like to leave them out because they look so nice. The sizes are convenient but I wish the largest one was a couple inches bigger so I could throw out my old cutting board.

I bought these cutting boards to serve cheeses, crackers, raw vegetables, etc. at a graduation party. I did not want to spend ~$10/each on plastic platters and bowls--I wanted something earth and people-friendly that I would want to use in my home. These cutting boards looked so much nicer than plastic and served the purpose well, and now I have some really nice cutting boards for my kitchen! They are thick and sturdy feeling, convenient sizes, and the colors are really lovely. I can't say for sure whether they hold up over time since I haven't had them long, but i have used and washed them several times with no signs of warping or splintering fibers. The company (Saxeville Market) has contacted me and seems committed to customer satisfaction. Thankfully, I am very pleased with my purchase, but it is reassuring to know the company stands by their product!

These are very nice, apparently very good quality bamboo cutting boards. The 2 larger ones are not as thick as I had expected, but the description was accurate. I have had these for about a month so far, use them nearly every day, and I expect them to last very well. My 4 stars rating probably could be higher, and probably is unfairly low based on hoping these were thicker, but perhaps they just don't need to be. Longevity is TBD. I will say that the seller sent 2 emails to me asking if I am happy with the product, and providing care instructions. I was very impressed with this. That along with the great warranty makes me belive this was a good buy.

These three boards are the perfect size for any job! From cutting bread to cheese to tomatoes, they are an excellent choice. And, the bamboo is renewable, and easy to clean!One star was taken off for the roughness of the channels and the handle cut-outs. But, with enough use, they should get smooth in no time.All in all, an exceptional buy. I'm very happy with these 😀

These were great...until the large one cracked down the middle and warped after 3 months use. The handholds are nice for hanging on the kitchen so they don't take up counter space. The smaller ones are convenient for quick cutting or cheese boards, and have held up nicely. Unfortunately, the large one did not last long at all - it is still useable but bothersome as it does not lay flat and has cracked.Edit: the seller did reach out to me and gave me a refund on my board. Seller was easy to communicate with and was helpful

They look good and are just what I wanted. Washing by hand is a minus but not so bad

These are the worst set of cutting boards I've ever had and that is a lot since I came from Brazil to Canada recently and usually the products here are of much higher quality, however this is not the case with these cutting boards.We used them only a few times and cleaned them really well after usage, on top of the cracking some black spots that seem to be mold appeared on all of the boards, both the black spots and the cracks can be seen on all of the photos uploaded in this review. We cleaned the boards after each use and stored them in a drawer in the kitchen, one day when we picked them up they had the black spots and were all cracked. I'm really disappointed in these cutting boards since they seemed good products at first and by no means they were cheap, I ended up replacing them with a cheaper and better set from IKEA.Do yourself a favor and just don't buy this product, I'm actually surprised it doesn't have a worse rating in Amazon.

These boards are fantastic. Excellent quality! I'd like to add that the company followed up with emails instructing how to care for them, and hints and tips to keep the great for a long time....Quality product...And a company that stands behind its product....Win.. Win....Couldn't be happier with the purchase!!!

Habe das 3-Teilige Schneidebrett-Set von CC-Boards schon nach 2 Tagen erhalten. Seit 2 Wochen habe ich und meine Freundin Freude pur am Zuschneiden und Zubereiten von etlichen Veggie- oder Fleischgerichten. Alle Bretter weisen keinerlei Schneidespuren im Holz und sind sehr pflegeleicht. Einfach genial ! Und vergleichbare Produkte zu diesem unschlagbaren Preis gibt es im Moment nirgendwo ! Wir würden dieses Produkt jederzeit ohne zu zögern wieder kaufen !

Son muy bonitas y además hacen juego con mis cucharas de madera. Se nota la buena calidad que tienen, ya llevo mas de 6 meses usandolas y siguen como nuevas.

Bretter sind seit einigen Wochen in Gebrauch.Optisch sehr schön, schneiden geht wudnerbar, selbst auf der Granitplatte rutschen sie nicht weg.Reinigung erfolt bei uns nur von Hand, außerdem werden sie immer wieder eingeölt und bleiben dadurch sehr gepflegt.Empfehlenswert!

Tolle Bretter, rutschsicher, nette Farbkombination, schwer einzuschneiden - bisher fast keine Gratzer, obwohl regelmäßig in Benützung. Ist empfehlenswert!

Great quality and product! Arrived on time, as expected. The bamboo wood is excellent quality and well made. Have used these several times and love the groove in the board to catch run off juices. Very easy to clean and maintain.

They look great but none of them lays evenly flat on the counter. They move as you chop and they make rattling sound as they move on the counter. Disappointing because they look nice and are light.

... gut verarbeitet, leicht zu reinigen und handliche Größen.Einzig die Innenseite der Griffe und die Auffangrillen könnten besser geschliffen sein, diese sind etwas rau, deswegen einen Stern Abzug.

These boards are good sizes and not too heavy. I like the handy handles.
