Black Falcon 100 watt Siren

First of all this was a very first time buying outside of federal signal and code 3 is this siren better! NO but for the money sure if your new to the first responder area YES it’s a great siren it’s loud not as loud as my code 3 but it works! But with that in mind I would another one this is the second item I have bought from led equipped my light bar was the first and it’s lasted now 4 years no issues it’s been through everything Mother Nature has thrown at it and it still never fails so I’m hoping this siren lasts the same I’m sure it will it’s built sturdy and for the price it’s great considering my code 3 siren was triple the amount of this one I’m not complaining! If your in need of a siren I would suggest giving this a try it won’t let you down!

Arrived very fast, but having to search online for instructions was time consuming and frustrating. Install was basic and easy, unfortunately it didn’t work, contacted seller through Amazon messaging system, email, and by phone. Same question arises, “is it the controller or amp?” But controller doesn’t work without amp and both turn on. When any button is pressed including the microphone, the entire system beeps, flashes, and restarts. 6 days later no resolution after multiple communication attempts. Deadline to install is now over. I lose one customer and seller loses two. First ever bad seller experience on Amazon. If they would have had better communication I could have relayed it to my customer and possibly extended the deadline. Seller responded once a day which makes the process extremely long. If anything changes I will update this review

For an inexpensive siren and light controller this is a good option. This doesn't come close to the quality of brands such as whelen but what can you expect for the price. There are 3 things I've noticed so far though.The sticker legends will come off the buttons so I had to use a small dab of silicone to keep the legends on.Out of the box the controller had a scuff and so did the bracket (as seem in the picture) but for the price what can you expect.The biggest pet peeve I have which I find very annoying is a few of the buttons don't look like they have the blue back light (as seen in the picture)

Update 7/5/2019 - had a minor issue with the controller after a year and a half of flawless operation. I advised LEDEquipped of the problem and they took care of the problem immediately! I recommend them and this product 100%!! Updated rating to 5 stars!!First let me say this would have been a 5 star as the product is overall built well and extremely easy to set up. Now the bad...the amplifier came damaged at the main port plug in. I called Amazon within minutes of receiving it, they couldn't help, seller attempted but sent the wrong parts to make it a 100%. Seller recommended return it as it was damaged when received, after a few calls I thought I had the proper return shipping labels but was only alloted one, not both as needed to get credit with Prime. So the deadline of a month came and went and I couldnt return it, so i was stuck, my credit card company I could have recovered the payment, but I was impressed with the unit overall so I had the unit taken apart professionally and repaired. Finally able to install after 6 weeks of receiving it, it was extremely easy and worked excellent. The only other issue was the decals provided didnt like to stick on the controllers silicone buttons, so my OCD was kicking in at this point so another fix was in order. I used silicone double sided adhesive tape somewhat like VHB...cut meticulously it worked excellent and bonded them together to form a single unit. SO...was the additional $60 worth the frustration I endured for a month plus, I think so in the end.Overall if it wasn't for the damage issue it would have be rated at 5+ stars...

Broken parts missing low quality 😔

I will say that if your looking for something that's a easy plug and play for a POV then this would be it. Only down side it the sticker sheet that comes with it isn't all cut to size of your buttons and they don't stick for very long. Half of the labels fell off in just a month of having it.

I waited a week before writing this review and I have to say I am extremely pleased with the purchase I would even compare this to the whelen my lighting set up consist of a whelen 9m light bar with Alley lights and take down light 4 sets of inside led bars recently installed Whelen strobe light's power supply for my head and tail lights and led fog lights and whelen speaker and he controls everything beautifully the system is loud the main unit was bigger then I expected but I found space under the passenger seat and this is put into a 99 crown civ police interceptor that I use as a patrol car as a security officer as a supervisor and my cheif is so surprised I'm about to start outfitting our other patrol cars with this unit And the blue black light was not as bad as I Thot but I also have a patrol laptop right over it so I think it dims it down for me

Did not come with the speaker wire clip and got no response from them
