I have started using this because I have heard that people my age are getting bowel cancers at younger ages than past generations. I haven't seen any proof that probiotics prevent bowel cancer but I figure helping bowel health is a positive either way. I chose Florajen because it was the most reasonably priced probiotic that was also refrigerated which means it has strains that would not be available from room temperature options. Anyone who is also worried about gut health like I am should also make an effort to eat more fiber.

The Best product on the market! This product if taken first thing in the morning with sugar free Greek yogurt is the Best balance I have found with a 10 day high mg antibiotic. Especially if taken an extra two weeks after the ten days are up.

The first time I tried these probiotics was about 4-5 years ago when my then obgyn prescribed it to me and I would pick it up at the pharmacy. She swore by it to help with any imbalance such chronic yeast infections or bv. And it did do the trick. At the time, I mainly would take it during and after my period and it seemed to keep things at bay. Fast forward to years later, I buy it off of Amazon as it’s more convenient and either way it’s refrigerated. Nowadays, instead of taking it as needed, I take one pill a day. This is a recent change for me and I’ve noticed a huge difference. It’s kept any bv or yeast infections away and an added bonus, I have regular bowel movements which was not a regular thing before. I just feel healthier. And to make things more convenient, I keep the bottle in the fridge but I plan out my pills in a weekly organizer. It’s a comfort knowing that having the pills out at room temperature a week at a time won’t hurt it’s efficacy too much. I’m really happy with this. This is one of the supplements I take where I know it’s making a difference.

I started using this probiotic during the later stage of my pregnancy to improve my gut and vaginal microbiome health. Now that I am postpartum , I continue to use it and have appreciated how it has helped maintain my regularity especially since I am prone to constipation. The product arrived cold and was shipped in a foam cooler with ice packs so I was impressed with the quality and care taken during shipping to ensure the product arrives cold and undamaged.

This product actually works better than all of them, unfortunately I went through them all before I found out.
