There are no instructions with this product. Looking at the pictures, the last one shows the cover installed upside down, which is unlikely to work!The product does work very well to prevent spillovers from boiling.The smaller piece is placed on the larger piece. There is no anchoring attachment to keep it centered. As a result, if there is vigorous boiling, the smaller piece will be pushed to the side.It is tempting to grab the cover by one of the two handles. While the silicone cover does not get very hot to the touch, lifting it by the handle(s) will result in an INSTANT and SEVERE STEAM BURN! Use tongs to lift the cover and slide it on to a large plate or frying pan. In many cases, both the top and bottom surfaces of the cover will have food on them, which will need to be cleaned off.

I compared pricing and quality/durability before I bought this product. Very happy with this purchase. So far I've only used it to prevent boil over.

I have made spaghetti / pasta for years you put this on top of the pot and none of the water spills over from the spaghetti or pasta I love it love it love it

I have a glass topped stove and so when things boil over it gets real messy. We boil a lot of potatoes and pasta and now I don't have to babysit it and stand over it to make sure it doesn't boil over. Thank you this is a great product.

ravie de ce couvercle fini les coulures sur la plaque l'eau débordante reste bien sur le couvercle avec un petit effet cocotte, je ne met plus rien sur ma plaque avec du liquide sans mon couvercle
