Absent the story, the book was damaged
Received the ashcan book in very poor condition, 1.0 unlike the stock photo used to display. Unfortunately, I had to return the book. Beware of bait & switch sellersโฆ

Short and sweet
This comic wasn't as long as i wanted, but then again: are they ever? Yet still it drove it's point right home about the force. I just wish i could know what happened to glitch after he threw the gauntlet away.

I was okay great change of pace with many clone troopers thinking that they are mandolorians but one thinks he is a Jed.

Nephews are Star wars fans
I got this book as a present for my nephews. They liked the cartoon, but I'm trying to entice them into reading books and expanding their minds.

Five Stars
It was a really good graphic novel. But the ending was a little bad. Maybe a little longer also because from my perspective it was short. But other than than that it was a really good book

More good stuff from the graphic novel series
My 9 year old son loves this series of Star Wars: the Clone Wars graphic novels and we always pick them up when they come out. I usually end up reading them with him as well and this was a good story to boot.

Average Clone Wars comic
If you love Clone Wars, this book is for you. But compared to others? As Obi Wan had the Stormtroopers say in A New Hope "Move along...move along."

One of the better Clone Wars digests.
THE STORY:(20 BBY) Set between the fourth and fifth series' of 'The Clone Wars', this book tells of a team of Clone Troopers, led by Jedi Master B'ink Utrila and Padawan Rennax Omani and their mission to secure a lost Sith artifact. Whilst doing so, then run afoul of Pre Vizsla and his Mandalorian Death Watch.WHAT'S GOOD:This is a story about identity, featuring a clone who thinks he can use the Force, another who is too attached to his Mandalorian heritage and a Padawan who has begun to question her place in the Jedi Order. The theme of identity is carried throughout the story and I was impressed to find that sort of subtlety in one of these (relatively) short spin-off comics. Fans of the wider EU will also be impressed to see links like Master B'ink Utrila (from an RPG sourcebook) as well as a very strong connection to the 'Knights of the Old Republic' comic books. The latter link revolves largely around the Sith artifact which serves as the MacGuffin of the story and I particularly enjoyed seeing the effect it had on Master Utrila, with some excellently drawn art capturing her horror.WHAT'S BAD:As I say, the Sith artifact is little more than a MacGuffin and the inclusion of Death Watch seems a little forced, as if they just needed some gap-fill antagonists.OVERALL:One of the best of these Clone Wars digests released to date.

One of the better clone war type books
Letโs forget about the secret temple for a minute. The main character is a clone called Glich. His problem is he does not know who he is. He knows he is clones from a fierce and feared Mandalorine warrior, so he wears Mandalorien markings on his helmet. He sees the Jedi in action and wonders if he can use the force, because he says he "simply has a knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time". The mission is to raid a forgotten Jedi temple to reclaim/safeguard an ancient Sith artefact that makes the wearer indestructible. the characters are 3 clones including Glich, a Jedi and her Padwan. I guess a forgotten booby trapped Jedi temple is not safe enough, anyway the Deathwatch follow the expedition to the temple and attack to try and take the artefact. An ok story, with ok action panels. The other clones and the Jedi herself are pretty forgettable. Glich and the Padwan seem to share not knowing who they want to be. With Glich I can understand this but the Padwan, who has been raised by the Jedi since birth and has probably had little or no contact with her family seems to act out of place. I mean she acts like she is new to the order rather than someone there since her early years. It just does not seem to make sense, but over all an ok story by no means the worst. It could possibly have importance later on.

defenders of the lost temple
it was a great story line and loads of fun to read but I thought some bits were a bit silly like the second jedi and the clone pretending to be a jedi but overall it was worth the money

Short but sweet
Worth a read but not sure the length was worth the money. But if u like cool jedi, clones and death watch then u will enjoy this book.
