Madison Park Traditional Jacquard Quilt Set, 6PC King/Cal King Coverlet

I don’t usually write reviews, but I shopped and returned a lot of bedding when we bought our new home and I am glad I finally landed with this. I LOVE this set! We have had it for over 2 years and it is still beautiful. It is not any thicker than a typical quilt, but somehow it has more weight to it and it is warm. I bought the king size for my queen size bed because I have a thick mattress and a tall bed frame and I wanted it to fit more like a bedspread. It comes down to the frame on both sides. I was worried the fabric would snag or become fuzzy with time. It hasn’t. I machine wash and dry at home. I also love brown-taupe-grey color combination. It is neutral without being boring. You can decorate your room with that color scheme or add a pop of just about any accent color. The shams and accent pillows are beautiful and rich looking too.

This is the second Madison Park quilt I have purchased for a king sized bed this month. The first was the Lucy quilt for a guest bed. I was so impressed that I decided to search for one for my room. The fabric is thick and held up great in a washer with an agitator. It isn’t super soft like some quilts, but I am not sleeping with it so that wasn’t part of my decision process. It came packaged well, taped fully around all edges of the box. Inside the quilt was in a thick plastic bag like quilts for sale in retail stores. Each of the throw pillows were vacuum sealed. I tossed them in the dryer with a dryer ball for an hour and they were fluffy and good to go. I have espresso bedroom furniture with silver knobs that doesn’t really go with the modern neutral farmhouse theme of the rest of my home. This quilt helped bring it all together. I love that it goes with taupe, gray, brown, cream, and white. I only used one of the included throw pillows. This is a great buy for the quality. I purchased a quilt from Levtex and although it was softer, I was not impressed with the dye quality or fabric quality. This one was far superior.

Love love love this quilt. Washes and dries beautifully. Holds its shape and color. It’s comfortable, fits perfect on my wish bed and is just perfect. This is actually the second time i’ve purchased this exact same quilt. The first one got lost in my move.

Good value for the money. Feels and looks good in quality, but is not lux. The colors and prints were on point with the product images online. Hated the larger brown accent pillow (cheap, small, and no fluff) so we’re still looking for the right fit and used one from our old set temporarily. Generally very happy to find something to tie the grey and chocolate color mix of our bedroom furniture, paint, and curtains together, but it might be a bit feminine/busy pattern for the straight line and masculine feel of the rest of the room. My negatives are mainly whether it’s the right fit for our style. No complaints about the product itself, except the chocolate accent pillow.

I really like the bedspread so I also ordered a matching shower curtain at the same time and made a matching window curtain. I noticed the bed spread does pill a bit so I ordered another bedspread for the future.

This bedspread is just what I wanted! Colors are difficult to discern from the image, but in real life I see (re: "red") it's all shades of brown-beige-gold with some brick red/ burgundy bits, making mix-and-match anything in the brown family very easy. It also looks somewhat (but not too much) masculine. A few portions are a little shiny, but in a nice-spendy-tasteful way, not a bling way. It being a bedspread instead of a thich comforter means it folds well for storage and fit in my washer. It's on the small size which is just what I wanted for this application (a Queen sized, basement murphy bed which raises at the side, not the head). I tucked the spread in 1' at the attached side which allowed it to drape to the floor at the foot and the exposed side. (It would only cover mattress, not box spring, on a normal bed, and to make it turch the floor at the foot There is no extra fold at head where the sheet flips over to accent the spread, under the pillows). The shams fit my standard pillows well and the 2 pre-stuffed accent pillows are (a little too full of sheen and stuffing but) pretty. I'm SUPER glad I got this. I usually have 2-3 different bedspreads for every bed to change the look, but I had such difficulty finding a smaller, milti-shaded brown spread with attractive but not-too-masculine, not-too-feminine pattern that I might actually just buy a 2nd of the exact same thing. While clearly any brown-ivory-maroon-beige will match, I know I can also take a sham with me to CostCo or wherever when it's time to get more coordinating sheets.

I absolutely love this set! It looks amazing in my room and it's the perfect weight.

Beautiful bed spread. Covers my entire king size bed. I have been looking for a nice spreadsheet for a long time that was comfortable during the fall, spring and summer. This bedspread has a lot of different colors in it to go with all my decor in my bedroom. It's soft.

Belle qualité. Grandeur queen pour lit double. Finition brillantine à certains endroits. Fini satin. Contente de cet achat.

Love it but found that threads pull easily. Looks amazing in my bedroom.

MÁS BONITA Y DE CALIDAD DE LO QUE APARECE EN LA FOTO

Exactly what I was looking for, the colours are really nice and it fits perfectly I would highly recommend it
