Total big pockets: 7 (not including the pockets in/on pockets)Pros: feels like a quality material I imagine they are hard wearing time will tell. Pockets are deep.Zips seem solid.Leg pockets are large and phone feels comfortable on thigh.Cons: Asymmetric weird design.Only one side has a lower leg pocket on left leg, that is 3 pockets1 main velcro pocket, 1 small internal pocket, 1 external zip sideways pocket.That's dumb just put the same pocket on the right side, if I fill all those pockets I'll be so off balance I'll be going in circles.The right side has these two small pockets about the size of three fingers, they are angled slightly for when you sitOnly one bum pocket (left) has a velcro flap the other is just a normal pocket.Hammer hoop (right) is too small, it should be twice as large and on both sides for lefties and ambis.Decent shorts but the weird design let's it down, and if I had to nitpick they could go with a lighter shade of grey - being in shorts implies it's hot which implies sunlight, dark absorbs light and gets hotter.Cheers anyway!

I work in a very busy outdoor environment lifting heavy goods, running around and jumping in and out of vehicles all day long and get through work shorts because they are just not up to the task they rip and wear thin very quick, even some decent brands.I've been buying other scruff products lately and I am very impressed with durability and overall quality, so thought I'd buy these.The quality and fit are superb and they will outlast the many pairs of other work shorts I got through.They have an amazing amount of pockets and tool holders compared to other brands which have started taking away pockets making them no good for my job.I paid £28ish and for the money you can't go wrong, the trousers version is just as good.I would buy these again and again because sometimes you regret not buying more of good product before they change things for the worse.

Good but in comparison I bought 32" waist on these and a pair of trousers on the same order, I have to wear a belt with the shorts, didn't get chance to return in the window so can't say if 30" would be better

Great for work. Pockets really good.Only downside is zip slightly broken.Has no tab to stop the zip from falling down.I hope this is a one off and will try and buy another pair early next year.Would've returned them but had to wash them before use as they come extra starchy.

needed a replacement.looked at asda argos and others..saw this the same.% deal.pretty good so far

Nice fitting shorts, plenty of pockets to loose screws and bits in, although they are a dirt magnet, no matter whether it’s dust or fluff, they stick.

Recommend these shorts. Decent fit
