I've used Grandstream VoIP products before and for the price, have always thought they were a great value! This system is no different.Though Grandstream may not be a well-known brand found in stores, you won't be disappointed in the quality and the feature-set of this system. Unlike other "small business systems" (like those from AT&T or VTech) which utilize your existing phone lines and proprietary technology to act as a business phone system right out of the box, this system will require some configuration and setup. It is a fully-functional VoIP phone system with PBX functionality (think "press one for this...two for that...", voicemail, call transfers, music on hold, connecting multiple physical locations together, etc.) If you are familiar with Asterisk and FreePBX, this system will be mostly familiar to you.Also note, this system works over your NETWORK (not your phone wires). It will connect to up to 4 standard phone lines (or Internet-based VoIP service) but the connection between the phones and the UCM6204 "base" are done over a Ethernet NETWORK. The bad news is that if you only have phone lines running everywhere (2 or 4 wires only) then you will have to run new wiring. The good news is that if you already have a computer network and computers at each phone location, these phones can be connected to that existing network. (If you only have one network jack per location, the phones' built-in network switch lets you "pass" the network connection through the phone to your computer so both can be connected).Lastly, the configuration is complex (especially if you have never dealt with these systems before) and the documentation is sparse. This package came from Telco Depot, however, and despite my having worked with similar system before, I did have 2 small problems which I called the tech support number about. The technicians were extremely helpful!! My issue only took about 20 seconds to solve and on my second call, the tech connected remotely to my computer and walked me through the configuration step I was getting wrong.Having experienced multiple "small business phone systems" (AT&T hard wired system - OK, AT&T SynJ wireless system - TERRIBLE, and a vTech system - almost as terrible) and for basically the same price plus a little bit of configuration time, the Grandstream products worked better, had more features and had much better sound quality than the others. I bought this system for my office due to the affordable price. It initially had some problems with calls cutting out and poor call quality. I was going to return it, but the quality improved for a short while. The problems came back a week later and I had my phone guy look into the phones, wiring, and telecom installation. He said everything else was good but there was a problem with the phones. We hooked up a different system and viola! No more problems.Aside from the serious hassles I've had with these phones, my main issue is that the seller is no longer accepting returns I am out $700.

When answer first line after done talking, that line start making annoying beeping until another call. One of our phones stop working properly, not able to put on hold or transfer to another person just after a year of using when the warranty just expired.

Telco Depot provided the best tech support that I have ever received. They helped me get set up in about 30 minutes and configured everything for me. They listened to my needs and made sure that I had the right solution and configuration in place to support my business. I rate telco depot 500 stars if I could. Isaak was amazing!

Decent system, returned and bought the 6 line phones as this set only had 2 lines. Setting up the other grandstream now, considerable setup time but I’m learning as I go. Has a lot of features, way more than we need for 6 person office.

This is a great phone system. It is easy to use, aesthetically pleasing and has an abundance of capabilities through the online portal. Set up would have been a bit tricky if it weren't for the Telco Depot technical support team. Isaac was FANTASTIC! He walked us through the entire process and was able to help me later in the day. I would recommend this phone system 100x times, I am not certain about actual durability, but time will tell.

System is complex but with a lot of reading I was able to get it configured. Users love it especially the voice mail to email feature.
