I gotta say...I expected more from these candles. Mostly because of the Amazon Answers I read...and we all know what a grab bag of answers those can be. You could ask a simple yes or no question and you have 20 answers, half the people saying YES and the other half saying NO.That being said, someone asked the question 'Can EACH candle be set to a different color like in the picture, or will they actually all be the same?' with 2 people answering 'A: Yes, they can be set to different colors.' and 'A: Yes they can be different colors.'.So I ordered them believing this to be true. However, it is not a true standard function of these candles. You might be able to get them to different coors by separating them from the heard and then pressing the colors on the remote, but its not an easy tasks. They can not individually EACH be changed colors via the remote . But they can all ALL be changed colors via the Multi Color button on the remote.The range of the remote is pretty decent. Its a little hard to tell if the candle received the command sometimes (as in when you press the MODE button).Also, they seem to be independent. Sometimes Ill press a color and one of the candles wont pick up the command. Im still trying to figure out how the candles receive the commands from the remote. It seems a little weird to be honest.The candles themselves look 'ok'. I have another set of regular fake candles, and they have this dried up candle wax drip FX all on the candles which makes them look very real. I wish they did that with these. They look more like PVC tubes from across the room when not on.The instructions are non existent. I wouldn't expect you would need many instructions with these, but I honestly dont know all the modes. I just press them until I see something I like and then stop pressing.One good thing I can say is that the candles will return to the previous mode and coloring you had set when you turned them off.My biggest grip with the candles is the flicker FX. It doesn't look like a real candle flicker to me. It looks more like a pulse FX. My other fake candles flicker FX looks so real you cant even tell the different between a real candle. It actually looks better than a real candle. The flicker FX on these candles just looks fake. you wont be fooling anyone with these.They do look cool...but the realism is just not there. I have a ton of other LED lights (strip lights, christmas lights, ceiling water FX lights) and they look cool. These fall into the same category. They look cool.Who knows. I might go buy a real white candle and drip some candle wax on the outside and let it dry so it at least gives it some sort of candle look.Hope this helps.***UPDATEIve used them for a few days and they've grown on me. But only when they are set to individual different colors, which as I mentioned above, isnt a standard feature. To achieve this, I have to either go into another room and set the candles to a different color or turn one candle on at a time, set the color, turn off, turn another candle on, set the color, turn off, etc.Once they are set to different colors, I do like the look of them.I still stand by my opinion though. They do not look real, and during the day time when you wont have them lit up, they look more so fake than other fake candles with fake drip marks on them.The battery life seems to be good so far as well. I left them on all night and they still work. My old fake candles would have been dead already if I left them on all night.

I am using these for a wedding. This was a nice touch to this lantern and I put a little ivy and floral design to make it complete. I love the changing colors and you can use the remote to easily turn them on. I really like you can have them fade to the different colors.

They’re ok, but definitely cheap looking, definitely no “vanilla” smell, no “burnt edges” but mostly, I’m REALLY not happy that it came with absolutely ZERO instructions!!!! I mean, I found a way to have one of them be one color and the other two another just by accident and then I lost it when I couldn’t make it flicker and tried to do it but ended up losing however I got the two colors to stay. Now it’s all three, one color. VERY VERY VERY frustrating and would‘ve ALL been avoided if I had, oh yeah, INSTRUCTIONS! Buy from someone else—NOT WYZworks!!!!

I bought these for my daughter who is 8 and has been begging me for a candle. I did not want to get her a real candle as an 8 year old should not be playing with fire (obviously). So I thought these would work great! She LOVES them!!! She put them up in her bedroom on her nightstand and plays with the colors all the time. I like that you can have them all on the same color or make them all different colors. The remote is easy to use, easy enough for an 8 year old to figure out! The colors are bright and wonderful and they look like real candles. She even uses these as a night light. It even has a timer so she can set it for either 4 or 8 hours and it will automatically shut off, saving more battery life.

The media could not be loaded.  So these candles worked ok for 1 day. Now they turn off and on on their own (see video), they dont stay the color you select on the remote. Contacting seller for refund. Not sure if they're defective or just cheap. Probably both.EDIT:After leaving my review, I was contacted by the seller and offered a replacement for my original order. I will say that the customer service rep for the seller was very courteous and nice and quickly offered a replacement at no charge. The new candles were sent to me. I put them out, used new batteries and still the candles turn on and off on their own, one candle (the largest) won't even turn on at all now, unless IT decides it wants to, no matter how many new batteries and turning it on and off with the switch on bottom. The remote only works on occasion for all 3 candles. Maybe my house is hanuted?? Overall, a bad purchase and now I'm stuck with 6 defective/useless candles. Good try on offering the replacements but clearly the product is just cheap.

These candles are soooooo nice! I bought a set as a gift, and I am back to purchase another set for me. I love the idea of having these candles adding a touch of whimsy and romance to the room -- and there's no fear of fire from flame! I highly recommend them -- I'm so glad I got a set for friends! They are lovely!

I ordered two. My teenager is really into this new LED light fad. This was the perfect opportunity to feed her curiosity of candles and new found love for LED at once.
