FANTASTIC BOAT !!! Very rugged and durable!!! I now own 4 and I couldnโt be happier !!!
LOVE THIS BOAT ! Best fishing platform ever invented, IMO !!! I could write VOLUMES about how GREAT this boat is !!! I bought my first one 8 years ago and have put it though some VERY rough water. Besides being sun faded, it has held up perfectly!! No issues!!! I bought one for my girlfriend who had never been in a boat by herself. Never used an oar. After one day on the river, she was handling it like a confident professional!!! VERY STABLE!!! You have to work hard to turn it over !!!We liked them so much we bought two more. We now have 4 boats. I bought two small trailers (kits from harbor freight). Instead of breaking them completely down we just stack them on the trailer. We float the local river (Niangua River, Mo Ozarks) every week during the summer. NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE TOONS !! And we drag the shoals ALLOT ! Even portaging around obstacles is no problem. Itโs lightweight makes it easy, AND IโM 60 YEARS OLD !!!It should be noted that unlike a kayak, you can see straight down between your legs into the water. I bought an acrylic serving tray and lay it on top the water between my legs. Itโs like looking into an aquarium. We find cell phones, fishing rods, sunglasses, etc. AND, I can see where the big fish are holding!!!Once you set in one of these and row around a bit, youโll never want to get into a kayak or canoe again.

great boat !!!
The setup for this pontoon was very easy and plan on about an hour to hour and half depending on your experience at following setup plans.I have used this boat on mainly lakes and in different conditions. My buddy and I both got the colorado xt at the same time we both used fins and the oars , a great combo, we like to fly fish so we cast and then kick away to create the movement we want on our fly. I can tell you that the Xt is very easy to keep straight and going where you want just with the fins, very stable and with a lot of storage also. The designers of this boat thought of everything that a serious fisherman would need and the rock filled anchor is amazingly sufficient we used it in the wind on a very harsh lake in northern montana in cold weather. The wheel is a little wobbly for one person but if two grab the boat you can take it anywhere that the trail is wide enough to go we went down step banks and trails to mountain lakes but keep in mind it takes two men to to balance it but it is easy to take up and down any trail. Highly recommend this boat , 5 stars great product.

Felt like I was in a hurricane on a calm day
I have taken this out 3 times now on a small lake. Grew up canoeing, white water canoeing, rafting, tubing. I've been on rivers from Oregon to South Carolina and all in between. I'll keep this short as possible.Overall, glad I bought it. Perfectly made? Not quite. Excellent all around boat.Negatives: Only 1 really. The seat. I have the regular seat and it slides. Using 4 wing nuts with lock washers was a cheap and poor idea. It's not convenient to adjust either. So you must, and it's not horrible or anything, but you must go out on it once to get an idea where you want the seat and then bring in to shore and adjust and tighten. I found that no matter how hard I turn all 4, eventually it slides slowly backwards.Wind is another problem. Something with this much above water profile catches wind. Fishing during 10mph winds became a chore. I was not using a trolling motor. I believe with one, wind would be a minor issue at worst.Positives: It floats well and holds me. I'm 6'1", 240lb. With gear loaded it was around 260 not including paddles, which are hefty. Adding a trolling motor and 55amp battery puts around 40lbs more. 25% below max cap. So that's good.Put's together pretty easily, especially when you figure out a few shortcuts to the build. E.G. I leave the seat attached to the seat frame and leave the pontoons attached to the rail frames, folding them over into thirds on the frame. I drive a 2016 Sentra, the entire thing minus paddles fits into my trunk. Cool!!! That means I don't need a rack or a truck or a trailer. That's one of the main reasons I bought it.I cannot leave it even partially inflated as it's just a wee to bulky for me to shove it all the way to the front passenger seat coming in from the trunk. Almost, but not quite. Rats. That would have made trunk to water time about 5 minutes flat. But since I have to pump it fully, it takes about 15 minutes. Not bad, but just long enough where you're watching somebody with a kayak pull up, park, and get in the water while you're still pumping. In fact, now I want a kayak from when I'm in a hasty mood to just go and get wet fast! It's sturdy, floats well, paddles well, looks really cool. I cannot tell you how many people say something or stare. Especially when you pull an entire boat out of a nissan sedan.I love the "gear head" engineering (except for the seat). Storage is great. Little things for fisherman is thought of. Everything is easy to get too. I thought I'd hate not having a swivel seat. I'm 52, beat all to hell, disabled vet, high school football, etc. But it's not bad. It would be nicer with a swivel, but it's not uncomfortable to me without one. Additionally, I've heard grumbles about the wheel attachment too. That it bolts on and is a pain and adds 7lbs for a single use. I put a tarp on the ground, assemble it, drag the tarp to the water. It's not so heavy where you have to stop. You can just lean back and pull it no problem over gravel, grass, pavement. Of course, that's only for short distances. If you're camping a hundred feet away from the put in, you'll probably want the wheel attached.Overall I would love to give this thing a 5 star review. Everything about it is pretty clever and made excellently. But because the seat is still an issue for me after 3 trips out, I give it 4.5. I did get it for 25% off. Had I paid full price I don't think I'd be quite as happy given the seat deal.

Incredible pontoon, a must buy
Arrived on time. All parts were located inside. The instructions for assembly are clear. I didn't realize how large this pontoon boat is. The pictures are very deceiving. I would recommend taking a picture of this next to a truck so buyers can grasp how large this actually is.This pontoon boat is very stable. And moves effortlessly on the water, even with wind. I have back problems and this was easy enough for me to be able to handle moving this around in the water.I recently purchase a Minn Kota 30b thrust C2 trolling motor for this pontoon, with a Minn Kota Battery box. I went down to the local walmart and bought a cheap $50 marine battery for it. I've had no issues at all. The trolling speed is about 5mph. This pontoon is well constructed.A negative would be. I think that the boat should come with 4 extra d rings/pins. I take apart my pontoon after each use and put it in my trunk of my car. I know someday. I will loose a couple clips. I would rather be charged $4.00 or so for the extra clips and have them included in the order instead of having to contact the company, order them and pay for postage. I think extras should be included. This will fit in the trunk of a car broken down. Assembly time 5 minutes for both assemble and disassemble phases.Boat is manageable to move with the bogie wheel down and full of gear. Will post pictures of the weigh mine is outfitted.Next on my list is a fish finder and bluetooth waterproof speakers.

Great boat, great price!
This boat is great! My husband is a larger guy and very tall. We look for sometime to find a float boat that would be sturdy and hold him comfortably. This is the boat!!! Works great and it has all kinds of features that he wanted. Line basket is a must when fly fishing! The wheel make this is much easier to manage out of the water. He doesn't get wet at all getting on or off. The paddles attach and stay out of the way. It glides right on top of the water. The only negatives are it's very large much bigger then we had in mind. It just makes a little difficult to store when not using. Also, assembly was a long process. It took us about 4.5 hours to get the boat together initially.Looking forward to many years of use!

Form and Function
Just purchased my Colorado XT last month and have used it twice (small river & lake). The boat is safe, comfortable, and fun. Out of the box, it looks somewhat daunting to assemble but once you done it a couple of times, its very easy. It now takes me about 30 minutes to assemble at the water. I leave the frame straps tied to each pontoon and it makes for a faster set up and take down. The most important thing I considered when buying a pontoon boat was how much space the boat would take up when disassembled. I have a Toyota FJ Cruiser and I needed a boat that would fit in the cargo area and the XT does not disappoint.Where the design of this boat really paid for me was using the wheel to push the boat to the water's edge. My local reservoir is closed to motorized boating, and the water level is way down. I had to push the boat at least 500 yds and the wheel made this possible. If you are not planning on getting a motor, make sure you get a set of fins. I find using fins more effective than oaring on a lake. One last thing, the overall quality of the materials is first rate. If you think it looks good in the picture, wait till you see in person!

Colorado XT
Ok, so I have owned the Colorado XT for about two months now and are ready to write a review. I took it out for two weeks on a northern New Mexico lake with an added Minn Kota C2 Motor. The first time I assembled it out of the box took about 45 min.- Yes I read the manual...When I took it to the lake I left the frame assembled and the pontoons partially inflated.Using a coleman 12v airpump it took less than 2 mins to fully inflate the pontoons and about 10 mins to fully assemble the boat with all my fishing equipment and the trolling motor. Here are some pros and cons:When you just use the oars it is a little awkward and the boat tends to really veer in one direction or the other. With a trolling motor it works great. It was initially hard to steer since the handle of the motor sat pretty much against my shoulder, but I used the anchor pulley system and routed some rope and steering became a breeze. Storage is awesome and the rod holder works perfect. I purchased a small Battery (for weight reasons) and I used it 2 days in a row using it for 5-6 hours continuously before recharging.Wind is a factor, especially if you are fishing and every cast will pull the boat in the direction you are retrieving... But with the anchor that is not a big deal. It is incredibly stable on the water.I put the boat in the water over rocks every day and there are no markings on the bottom. As for over inflating- I can see the problem if you take it out of the water and leave the pontoons fully inflated as the sun quickly increased the pressure. So every time I took it out of the water i partially deflated the pontoons.Registration was another issue... If you want (and you need to in the state of NM, if you add a motor) register the boat there might be problems. Having it purchased from amazon our DMV did not accept the printout of the receipt (even though I had the manufacturers state of origin). So I called amazon and expected the run around stated in some other feedbacks, but they immediately gave my the address of the director of sport equipment located in Washington state. I send a Bill of sale from my DMV plus the receipt to that department and within 2 weeks I got a filled out form back and after that it was no problem.Overall this boat is a great purchase and I basically love everything about it. For fishing it is great- whether you use it for that or just for cruising around I'm sure you'll love it

Nice boat, but I sure wish it was made from aluminum rather than steel.
I own a bass boat and a jon boat and several belly boats, but I wanted something better than the belly boats that I could take on our trips in our 5th wheel so I bought this . I've used it in my pond with a trolling motor and it is a blast and will be a great fishing machine. Once my registration arrives, I'll use it on public waters with a motor. I recently used it on public waters with very light winds and paddling against the wind was a major chore. I already had a padded swivel seat so I use that instead of the supplied seat so I basically have the XTS model now. I modified the wheel attachment to use two wheels which was very easy (see Youtube) because even with no motor or battery on the boat , moving it with one wheel is very difficult. It would be a nightmare to move it with a motor and a battery on board with one wheel.I already had a 55# Minn Kota Endura Max trolling motor so that's what I am using along with a group 27 battery. I weigh about 190# and even with the seat as far forward as it will go, the boat rides very low in the back with battery and motor on board in the rear. I modified the boat to mount the motor in front( see youtube for mod using treated lumber rather then PVC pipe) and it leveled the ride quite a bit. I bought a pedestal mount for the seat which will allow me to sit higher and move the battery from the rear basket to the central frame piece which should level the ride even more. Finally, as the title of my review states it would be much better in aluminum rather than steel to save weight and prevent rust. Unfortunately this did not even occur to me before I purchased it. It would have added to the cost, but I think it would have been money well spent. For storage and transport I initially placed all the metal parts minus the wheels and axle in one bag and the soft parts in another. The bag with the metal parts was so heavy I had to split them into two bags. I would be very careful about leaving the metal frame assembled if stored outdoors or in a damp garage for fear that the parts might rust together so that they could not be disassembled. I'm keeping mine disassembled indoors when not in use. Overall, a good boat, but it would be much better in aluminum like the pricier inflatable pontoon boats.

Love it! Stunning Pontoon, sturdy and comfortable
WOW - it is hard to explain the quality of this product. Although the price is higher in Canada (by some distance) than that is the USA I would say that it is a very high standard of product. I have not had it on the water yet but even though that is the intent I still feel totally at home at giving the Pontoon a 5/5 star rating, it is stunning to look at and as study as i could ever want. The seat is very comfortable and I almost fell asleep on it when sitting in it the first time. The tubing is strong and heavy (this is one thing I will say, it is heavy) but that is part of its appeal, I know this will last me years.Highly recommended

Nice
Very well built. Easy to fit together and just enough adjustment for my long legs.

PONTOON HAD HOLE, air was pssing oout very fast
BRAND NEW, hole in pontoon. also looking over the product, i could see some bends and poor weld joints on the tube frame as well.I am lucky i did a test assembly in my backyard. if i had taken it straight to the lake i would have been in the middle of the lake sinking.i would have lost all my fishing gear, my trolling motor would be toast, my cell phone.very un-professional, obviously they did not do any qaulity control, or product testing before releasing the product.i would recommend testing the product at home before use on the water, as there is a real safety hazard present here.
