It's a nice alternative if you don't like the drying and stripping feeling of shampoo. It's messy though.

I love this cleanser. When I run out, I don’t even want to bother washing my hair because nothing else seems to get the same results. I use all three products in this system and they work so great. Cuts my washing and detangling time down so that I’m not having to spend all day or multiple days trying to wash, detangle, style, and air dry. The only down side for me is how messy it is. I used to like to shampoo my hair in the shower then rinse and apply to conditioner, which I would then wash out after the shower, in the kitchen sink. But this mask is too messy. To use it anywhere other than the shower would be irresponsible. That’s not a bad thing though since you’re only applying one product that needs to be washed out. So again, time saver.

Love this product! Cleanses and moistures my hair intensely. Great definition without any additional products. I did use the moisturizer and oil to seal my hair. Lost some definition after applying the additional products but the softness is amazing. I actually don’t mind losing some definition if I’m gaining moisture and less shrinkage. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because of the price. My hair is thick and the 8oz bottle will probably only get me 3-4 washes.

This is the ONLY cleanser that I use now! I love this stuff. It really does cleanse the scalp. For the ladies having trouble with this product: Do à YouTube search on how to use this product. The founder posted a video of herself washing her hair with this cleanser. She shows why it’s super important to do your hair section by section when using this cleanser. Another helpful tip is that I’ve decided to no longer comb my natural hair in order to retain my curl pattern. So if you’re looking to detangle your hair while this cleanser is in your hair, try finger detangling. Last tip is that I condition my hair BEFORE using this cleanser and AFTER. I don’t think this cleanser is a 4-in1 like it claims to be but I’ve certainly never seen my 4c hair curl like it does when I use this cleanser. I’ve never worn a wash & go and I’ve been natural all of my life. But I rock some cute puffs after wash day.

I appreciate that it is a all in one product. At times I’ll let it sit on my hair like a deep conditioner, the product has a nice soft feel to it and the product does bring my curls to life. When it gets low it is harder for the product to flow out especially if I haven’t used it in awhile but other than that it is a great. This is the first natural hair product I have ever purchased that has left my hair and scalp feeling completely hydrated. As a matter of fact it’s the first time it’s ever been hydrated with a product not coming from a salon. My only 2 complaints is that the size of the bottles and the pricey price tag. I will definitely be using clay to cleanse my hair. I will have to find a less expensive 2nd Step.

This stuff is amazing! If you have dry kinky or otherwise damaged hair or a sensitive scalp this stuff works wonders. It’s very messy to put on so I recommend doing this in the shower so you can rinse the mess on down but after a 10min it weighs your hair down then rinse and you have healthier feeling hair

Makes my hair feel clean/easy to comb through/ my curls are elongated ... the only thing I did differently was add my leave In conditioners for my own personal preference
