Best sterling cleaner for jewelry I’ve found.
Easy to use. Makes black come right off the silver. This is my 2nd order. It works fast. For sterling silver jewelry or coins I leave it in the basket for about 30 seconds, swizzle it around, rinse it well and looks good as new. Rinse and dry it with a soft cloth. The smell isn’t something I would want to use as a room smell good agent. Not too objectionable. I’m pleased with the cleaning results. Smell doesn’t bother me.

My jewelry now looks brand new and shiny
I had few pieces of antique silver jewelry that tarnished badly, i thought to go professional, but they would charge so much so i decided different way and ordered on Amazon Hagerty sliver cleaner ... skeptical at first. after putting them for no more than 15(it has a little tray inside the liquid) second then rinsing in luke water i could not believe the result all the pieces look very shining like brand new. i also gold chain that looks bit dull, so I said what the heck let me try it too.....and omg the chain came out so shiny, like brand new

Works great!
Works great! Took the tarnish off of lots of chains and rings with hard to reach spaces for regular cleaning. Had to leave it in for longer than 10 seconds or do a re-application a few times to get tarnish off of the worst ones. After a few uses if the items had heavy tarnish, the smell of the chemical starts to smell like sulfur , that’s normal. It just means that the chemical is working.

Works but you must polish after…
I bought this to clean a sterling silver wedding band that has a sort of concave surface and engraving and really gets dirty quickly. The ring was super tarnished and I had to dip it 2-3 times. It cleaned off the tarnish but left a kind of dull finish. When I polished it with a silver cloth it shined right up and looks almost new!

Works well
Followed the instructions and it worked beautifully. I wish I would have taken before and after. I saw this on the counter at my jeweler, that’s what they use. There’s a basket inside to make it easy to dip for 10 seconds

Packaging needs improvement
This silver cleaner undoubtedly does its job well, and most of all does it with very little odor involved. Kudos for that. So why only 3 stars? Because the packaging really does not work for me: When I first opened the jar, the contents were under a clear seal that was absolutely impossible to remove without a tool. I had to use a pair of scissors to get a hole into it and even then was unable to simply peel it off. Gloves are very much recommended if one doesn't want skin to come into ample contact with the chemicals contained in the jar. In addition, I had a hard time closing the jar again. The lid kept catching the thread at an angle, and when I finally got it on straight, the chemical solution came up bubbling from underneath the lid upon attempting to screw it on tightly. I believe the problem is that the flexibility of the material used for the jar and the lid is simply too great. In order to screw on the lid, one must hold the jar and also use some kind of strength/force to get the lid on. That leads to everything bending slightly out of shape - just enough for the product to make a royal mess. I for one got the stuff all over my hands. I would normally be inclined to say that I just got a jar with a bad thread but with the odd flexibility jar and lid have, I just don't think so and believe the problem is with the design. As much as I despise the odor of the Connoisseurs Silver Jewellery Cleaner 8 oz. , I think their jar is designed better. At least it used to be on my old silver cleaner I had from them. I don't think I will buy this product again although I do like its performance.

works wonders
This stuff really works and super fast on all silver jewelry whether .925 or of a lesser grade. It must contain ammonia because it smell like it so you definitely want to wash it off.

Worked on my Pandora charms
Here's an after and before! My Pandora charms and bracelet were so tarnished. Just about 10 seconds dipped into this stuff and they are nice and shiny again! It does smell but it's not horrible and it works

Brilliant!
I wish there was 6 stars for this product. It is absolutely brilliant on any silver jewellery. In less than a minute of swishing the item in the product my silver is shinning and looks brand new. Can't recommend this highly enough! Worth every penny and such a time saver.

Did exactly what I wanted it to
I really dislike when faux patina is applied to silver jewelry. I like silver to be bright and shiny as possible. I bought a pendant with a design I loved, but it was caked with thick, black faux patina. I also have a David Yurman box chain bracelet that the faux patina gave a very masculine appearance to. I really wanted to remove the faux patina without having to take both pieces to a jeweler. Based on my google research, I learned that the black patina is actually a silver or copper sulphide requiring a cyanide solution to remove, and a silver cleaning dip containing thiourea would take it right off. This Hagerty dip made very quick work of the patina on my bracelet. I dipped it in twice, for a few seconds at a time, and rinsed with water and patted it dry in between dips. I was worried that leaving the bracelet in too long would cause damage. The bracelet came out perfect, looks much better to my eye, and after a quick buff with a jewelry cleaning cloth it’s good as new. The pendant (see photos) took many dips. In between dips I used a sharpened orange wood stick to get into all the tiny little crevices. It took at least 15 dips, along with scrubbing with the tip of the orange wood stick and rinsing out the loosened patina, to get it perfectly clean and shiny. While I was at it, I also dipped a Tiffany necklace that was tarnished due to time and neglect, and within a couple of seconds it was perfectly clean, bright, and shiny. I can’t say enough good things about this silver cleaning dip, it’s fast, effective, and so satisfying to use.
