Milk Frother - Black Handheld Café Latte and Cappucinno Frother with Metal Stand

I got this on time and it was wonderful for about 10 weeks. I recycled it's holder because it wasn't as good as the previous frother I received as a white elephant gift two Christmas's ago. (Actually that one was an IKEA brand which lasted a little over two years). This Frother that I bought in June and have used it about 3 to 5 times per week died about a month ago. Just wouldn't work one morning. Was sputtering and going off. I left it in disappointment going back into the living room. About 10 minutes later my husband and I heard a noise in the kitchen. It had turned on and was blasting away in it's holder. I then contacted the company about this but haven't heard from them. I have time to search my emails and junk folder again today - maybe I missed their reply. After reading the other people's experiences with this product and the company I thought this would be a trustworthy transaction. Guess I lost. Bummer. If indeed the company has sent a letter to get me a new one, since this one is a lemon, I will update my review.

Very good quality. It seems their lifetime guarantee is for real. I've owned dozens of different frothers over the years and they all break down in one way or another. I threw out the last brand I bought after several weeks: the off-on switch was badly placed so it turned on accidently several times, spraying milk all over the place! Hot mess.But this one is solidly built and the switch control sturdy and reliable. Haven't had it but 2 months but very pleased so far with its performance. Not daily use but weekly.Update 10/18/2014: Changed from 5 stars to two - this frother just died. Didn't last 6 months! So much for the "Lifetime Guarantee." It just stopped working. Tried several sets of brand new batteries just in case, but no: after 4 months another frother dead.Spend your money elsewhere.

This is the third one of these we've had over the past 10 years and each time Amazon has carried a little different brand. This one is nice, but doesn't seem quite as "robust" as the previous 2. It has to work a little harder to get a good froth going but it does the job. Also, the stand that comes with it seems like it belonged to another model. With a little bending of the arms, it can be adjusted to fit and balance so the frother can stand on the counter. These are a heck of a lot cheaper than an espresso steamer and do almost the same thing. Just heat up the milk in the microwave.

I purchased this item as a mixer, not a frother. Wifey and I enjoy flavored coffees and the cost of pre-flavored coffee is getting quite high. We add our flavors ( I prefer plain cocoa powder ) to one-half cup of regular grocery store coffee, mix and then fill the mug. This frother does a super mixing job. I figure we'll shortly save the price of the frother by mixing our own. Also, I tried the frother in plain, whole, cold milk and it made a really heavy foam in under thirty seconds. We have been using this frother for approximately three months and I absolutely recommend.

Maybe I just don't know how to use one of these things but I cannot get it to do much. It will only spin on the surface of very warm milk. If the spinner is submerged very far into plain milk, it stops spinning. Even with new batteries, I'm just not getting much foam and what there is doesn't last very long. As I said, it is entirely possible that I am not operating it correctly but I contacted the seller and have followed his instructions exactly. I wanted it to mix protein drinks and it just does not have enough power to do the job.

I don't really care about lattes and such, but I absolutely LOVE "bulletproof coffee" and I use this to mix the butter and coconut oil into my morning coffee without having to resort to a larger stick blender (a little TOO enthusiastic!) or putting the hot beverage into a regular blender (Otherwise known as "Phun with Physics" or "Pop goes the weasel!")I like this particular model for it's wee stand. I can keep it right on the counter near my coffee station, instead of having to rummage in a drawer to find it.

Best purchase I've ever made on Amazon!Delivery was prompt, and I really appreciated the emails from Mr. Claus with recipe ideas and detailed instructions for how to use the frother.The frother- is my favorite kitchen gadget EVER! I've used it with both regular 2% milk, nonfat milk, and homemade almond milk. It works fantastically- I am LOVING my homemade cappuccinos, macchiatos, whipped cream,... the list goes on and on! It's great for entertaining as well. I love the fact that I can make drinks quickly and quietly, with different milks for each person. It's easy to clean; I just put the spinning stainless steel part under cold running water, then put it on for 2 seconds to dry it. Love the holder it comes with as well.I'm excited to see how the lifetime warranty goes. It makes me feel more secure knowing about the warranty, and was actually the reason (or atleast, one of many) I bought this particular frother.I recommend this frother to EVERYONE!!!

Worth every cent. This is the best frother I've ever used. It makes morning mochas and chai lattes easy to do. It slows down a bit in heavy cream if you're making homemade whipped cream, but still works. Great for fluffy eggs though I rarely use it for that. It's easy to set up, use and clean. I love it!
