- Swing-MateTM comfort springs Included. Weight limit = 500 lbs, Dimensions: 56" wide inside seat, 18 1/2" deep seat, 19" highback, 56" wide back.. Hanging chains are included with the swings. All swings are 100% handcrafted from cypress lumber.
- The slats are screwed to the frame, not stapled, and the frame is bolted together with 5/16 inch bolts. The seat of the swing is beautifully contoured for your sitting pleasure.
- We use galvanized and zinc-plated hardware on our swings which are rust resistant. Cypress is known as the "Eternal Wood" it is naturally insect repellant so you do not have to paint, stain or waterseal it if you choose not to.
- Our swings come unfinished and may be left unfinished to weather to a beautiful barn wood grey, or decorate as you choose.
- Swing-MateTM comfort springs feature a barrel-shaped extension spring specially designed for comfort. The spring is manufactured from .218 diameter heavy-duty music wire and heavily zinc plated for rust resistance; it is 2" in diameter and 8.5" long with a weight capacity of 600 pounds each. Two springs are great for 2' through 7' wide swings. Swing-MateTM comfort springs are designed to fit between the ceiling hooks and the swing chain. This helps reduce the shock stress to support structures and creates a soft gliding on air affect that most people love. Swing-MateTM comfort springs are primarily designed for use with porch swings and hammocks. It comes 90% assembled - all of the slats are already screwed to the back and seat. The only assembly required is connecting the back and seat and securing the arms. Four-Brace System across back and bottom. Rolled back design for supreme comfort. Our slats are 1 inch thick and 1 3/4 inches wide routered (no sharp edges) and all sides and ends are for your safety and comfort.
