Great for aspiring aspiring vegans, long term vegans or someone just interested in plant based cooking
I love the writers other cookbooks and have been a fan of Tamasin Noyes in particular for a number of years now. So naturally, albeit a little late, I've got their book. It's full of good things I love that are staples in my diet especially beans, tofu and tempeh. They give a good introduction about protein, why we need it, how much we need, etc. This is good information for the new vegan that is considering veganism but concerned about getting enough protein.They don't make the push for protein, and this is not a high protein diet cookbook that is all the rage, but rather to answer "where do you get your protein?"...a question we get asked often, but often new vegans or people considering vegans genuinely want to know.The book has some great pictures, the index seems well organized and the chapters include all meal times and dessert.

Love this Cookbook
This book is amazing! If your swamped with vegan cookbooks & wondering which to choose, I wholeheartedly recommend this one! I'm a new vegan & this book has met all of my expectations to provide really good and tasty meals so that I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything! The cookbook includes a variety of different sauces to use for dipping, tofu and tempeh recipes and lots of beans and pea recipes. Low in carbs if your concerned abt that & as it says protein. Love.

This has many great recipes. Incorporates lots of plant based protein with other plant based food in delicious recipes.

good information and basic recipes
I purchased this cookbook because my husband started doing more strength workouts and needs to eat more protein to build and maintain muscle mass. I thought it might give me some super yummy ways to amp up the protein content of our diets. Unfortunately, these recipes are not new to me nor are they very exciting, but there is good information about protein for vegans. As a long time vegan cook, I think I already knew a lot of the information and had already made a lot of similar recipes. This would be good info for one just embarking on the transition to cooking a vegan diet at home while focusing on higher protein intake.

I bought the kindle version also. I love this book! Wonderful information and recipes! Getting enough protein in your diet each day is crucial. I highly recommend The Great Vegan Protein Book!

Good resource for the vegan curious.
I'm a fan of these cookbook authors & this one doesn't disappoint. Easy to follow recipes using everyday supermarket ingredients. Loved the Farro Apple pie breakfast

Does what the title says
I'm a vegan who due to post-surgery requirements needs to eat a high protein diet & this book has helped. Recipes are clear & results have been tasty with good photography. The protein amount is clearly stated, which has been very useful to me. The selection is varied & achievable but occasionally I have found the results a little salty & so have learnt to be a little cautious when adding salt to the recipes. Have discovered new ingredients as this is written from a US perspective but with the exception of one or two fresh ingredients have been able to source these online at reasonable cost in the UK.

American Ingredients Difficult to Find..
This is a reasonably good vegan cookbook but I have many reservations about it. It has a lot of unfamiliar ingredients perhaps because its an American publication and because of this I haven't used it as yet.
