I do like this product overall. I love that it folds and can be put away. I use this for photographing jewelry and taking videos of tumblers and for doing live jewelry shows. My only complaint about this product is that you really need to fold it and put it away. not meant to be open long term. if you do leave it open, it starts to bow at the top and sides. Again, overall nice product and I am happy with it, just make sure you do fold and put away when you're done.

Extremely to assemble and the use of magnets to assemble is a stroke of genous. Easy to compact for storage by simply separating the magnets and folding down. I purchased the two halo bars which can be attached for extra lighting. They give added light that is necessary for a lot of photos. The ability to shoot pictures from the top is an added plusWith that said, the downsides are that the backdrops don't stay in place and the corrugated panels project lines onto the items being photographed. One also has to be careful where they aim so as not to get the corrugated panels into the picture. If you want to take the time to line the box, that solves the problem.Do I still recommend it? Absolutely! For the money, it will help to enrichen your photos such as nothing else I've ever tried. Purchase with confidence, you'll have no regrets.

This product is a great solution for someone like myself. We are a small online business and take our own photos. We don't have a big budget for product photography, and we don't have the proper equipment to take professional looking pictures. The Foldio is a small, super quick setup that immediately gives us what we need as far as lighting and backdrop goes in order to get those professional looking photos of our small products. Basically the magnets snap in place to give the Foldio its cubical shape and the lights turn on with a small dial. The backdrop holds in place by magnets as well. If you are looking for an inexpensive, quick set up, with good enough lighting then this product gets the job done. I was pleased to find out that it matches the description and the photos. I hate buying a product and then finding out the online seller was misleading in their descriptions. This one is as promised. The only issue I had was a damaged backdrop that the seller immediately helped me take care of. They were easy to contact and very understanding. I was extremely satisfied with the customer service. I would buy from this seller again.

I got the kit with the front cover and halo bars.As a photographer, I highly recommend this when you have to do product photography for small items.The lights work very well, with all the lights including the halo bars set to max brightness.I was able to shoot at ISO 80 on my A7SIII and still get even lighting with minimal shadows.This kit saved me the tedium of setting up a photo background and spending hours calibrating a lighting set-up.Now for whatever reason, there was a packaging snafu where one of the two holder pieces for the background was not included with my studio kit. A minor annoyance but thankfully their customer service rep from Orange Monkie responded quickly to my request and sent the missing replacement part with no hassle whatsoever.

This thing is amazing. It's a really intelligent design that allows quick and easy assembly. Unlike other photo/light boxes I've used, this one is really sturdy and durable. There's very little side wobble which is awesome. The light quality is really good too and the dimmer allows varying degrees of light based the external conditions and what you want to shoot.The other cool thing is the adapter that comes with US, UK. Euro and AUS plugs. I think this really speaks to the portability aspect of the box. It's light and easy to take anywhere... literally anywhere in the world!I know this is probably toward the premium end of the spectrum for a box this size (about 2ft x 2ft BUT guys, it's worth it. The cheaper ones are flimsy and have lower quality lights (trust me, I've tried 2 or 3). You won't be disappointed in paying a bit extra for this one. Just check out the pics I took for proof!

I like the build and quality of the kit. Setup was a breeze, I had it unboxed and ready to shoot in under 10 minutes.Lights are bright, and with the halo bars and front cover, the shadows can be controlled. The use of magnets to easily prop the box and backdrop up and keep things tight when folded away is a stroke of genius.If you don't have the space to devote to a permanent shooting area, and want a compact solution for photographing smaller items, you can't do much better than this.That said...They really need to make the backdrops a bit more study. I understand the challenge of having a truly matte velvet texture perfect for eliminating shadows and reflections that can fold away with the box, but this material is very delicate and creases very easily.Still, I'm very happy with my purchase of this box with the 360 platform.

All I really wanted was an easy to assemble light box with a nice white backdrop.I got a white backdrop with black fuzz all over the front and back. There was also a square section where it appears a layer of the backdrop, the non fuzzy side, was pulled up affecting the look of the backdrop.Let's not forget the white fuzz all over the black backdrop. Why? Because both backdrops come shipped in the same plastic sleeve. Easy fix - don't put them together.EASY to assemble. Love the light at the top of the box - but I still got shadowing. I'm assuming if I got the other lights I could adjust it so there weren't any shadows.I researched and researched and finally decided on this light box, was even considering the bigger one and happy I didn't.Unfortunately, I am returning it. Now I need another light box.
