Nice handlebars just beware Amazon Warehouse
Purchased from Amazon Warehouse deal. The bars in the description said minor scratches. Whom ever purchased and returned these bars to Amazon took some sandpaper or other rough material and turned them into a brushed metal finish. The printing indicating Soma Sparrow in 2 places was removed too. This is why the 4 stars.Nevertheless, aside from the quality of what I received from Amazon Warehouse these were purchased for my beater grocery getter bike that is not supposed to look pristine. As to the handlebars other than the "modifications" we have them on several of our family bikes. These are wonderful. Soma offers 3 sizes. This is the largest at 560mm.We have tried all 3 sizes on our family fleet of bikes and like the medium and large best when you have hand brakes. The small works best for bikes without hand brakes such as a coaster brake bike due to the limited grip area. The medium and large are excellent for bikes with brakes. These handlebars can be used in 2 positions. The more aggressive with the grip area down or upright North Road style.Like these better than Origin 8 North Road style stainless steel since they are lighter in weight.

Great angle and a bit more forward for tall people
These are really nice I'm used to North Road handlebars. Compared to those, these bars are swept back less, which is more comfortable. Another thing that I love about these is that the hand position is bit further forward, which is very helpful if you are tall and your frame might be a bit small for you.Combined with Ergon GC-1 grips, these are sublime. I have one on my commuter bike and two on our tandem now.

Better Position
I replaced a straight bar with this one. Wow, no more numb fingers. The 560 is a perfect size, narrower than the flat bar I had. Very comfortable and adjustable to whatever is needed. Plus, it looks great on my hybrid-road bike!

Good bar, fits my needs well.
I really like this bar, from the shape down to the finish. I have it on what is essentially a touring/commuter frame and touring fork. I currently have it set up with sram MTB style shifters, avid MTB brake levers, and Odi MTB bar grips. What I mean to say from the above is that there is plenty of room in the hand part of the bar for having a fair amount of components hooked up. The drop in the bar feels a bit deeper than necessary and maybe slightly more aggressive than necessary if you intend to use for touring. But that is perfect for how I use it (commuter). I like the width of the bar as well. Again it suits my needs and therefore this is all just my opinion. There is also room on the top of the bar for attaching a bike light beside where the stem will grab the bar.

Silver finish is gloss not matte
Nothing against the product itself, beautifully crafted, however the picture on the site clearly shows the silver is a matte finish, but the item I received is a shining/gloss finish. The etched logo is also different to the picture shown, which means I either got shipped the wrong version or the picture is inaccurate. I originally chose this aesthetic to go with the matte silver aluminum finish of my bike, so gloss silver would different look a bit awkward. If I actually got the matte finish I believe I would be super happy with this product, the ergonomic of this handlebar is very comfortable.

Theres two sizes.
Not sure if they will stay on the bike. May try these on my 25 year old mountain bike. Otherwise they are nicer than a flatbar. But they are not classic 3 speed cruiser bars.

It's great. I bought the 520mm width (not sure if this review might post to another size of the same product). I'd say my shoulder width is about average for a male American, and 520 seems, now I've had it awhile, perhaps just a tad narrow. Soma makes this in one or two more sizes. I'll keep the one I have; it's fine.

FUNKY VERY NARROW BARS
I'm ended up using them on a different bike than anticipated. They give me a racy position for city transit of a previously flat bar bike (which previously had a bit too upright of a position, Monty Python style).
