Love the look and feel of these. Installation wasn't too difficult but took about an hour. I skipped the calibration step because it seemed to be pretty accurate to the fuel level as soon as it was wired in. If you see any miss match in fuel level vs the gauge reading you can always go back and calibrate per manufactur but that involves completely emptying the fuel tank which can be a hasel on EFJ bikes

The motorcycle must already have a fuel gauge to install.
My Sportster does not have the connection needed to add what its missing. Why would I purchase this if I already had a fuel gauge. I wish the site told me that, The motorcycle must already have a fuel gauge to install.
