Nutramax Solliquin Cat & Small Dog Calming Support, Soft Chews, 75ct

Bought this for my 14 year old terrier mix. He has dementia and is losing his hearing. These two things together have brought him major anxiety. Anytime my husband or children walked into the room he would run away and hide. He paced the house especially during the evening. He would sit and bark for us to help him up on the couch and when you try to pick him up he would run away. He started snapping at us if we tried petting him or picking him up. We were about to put him on a prescription anxiety medicine but the Vet suggested we try solliquin first. I noticed a difference in 2 days. Now 2-3 weeks later there is a big difference. I would say his anxiety is now cut in half. He is much happier. He does not run away from us. His pacing has almost completely stopped. I hope this continues to work for him because it is a life changer.

These really do help calm our anxious dog. He also gets a small amount of CBD oil. The combo has been working well.

At four weeks, I ranked this supplement one star. But since I had more "pills," I kept dosing my superenergetic rescue beagle and realized by six weeks I was seeing subtle but definite changes in him. The real proof came when I tried to wean him off Solliquin and saw a resumption of his hyperalert behavior (barking, howling at small noises, even in the middle of the night). Yes, he still hates the FedEx truck rumbling down our street with its engine squeaks, groans and clinks, but is otherwise more serene. Our household is the better for it!

Our cats wouldn't eat them. They smelled good to me, but if the cats won't eat them they don't do us much good.

Cat won’t eat It I even ground it up & kept trying smaller amounts. Only ate it when he got really hungry & tired of kibble, Stuck with it for two weeks which was a pain but I wanted to see if it would work. Negative. Burned another twenty!

These calming treats have been AMAZING for my 15 year old (11lb) pup who was starting to show signs of dementia/sun-downers. I cut each treat in 4ths and give him a tiny piece before bed each night and he sleeps SO well through the whole night. He is still sound asleep when I wake him up at 8am. I also give him a tiny piece before airline flights or when we have company over and he is able to relax well. He loves the taste and has no negative side effects over the last 6mo. Highly recommend!

My very anxious 5 year old rescue was finally calming down and relaxing after three months and then we had a house fire and became displaced. She was nuts until we found Solliquin. I crumbled it in her food and within hours she was back to her relaxed self. I give it a 5 star after trying several other products that did nothing for her

I had high hopes for this product for an aggressive cat and some issues I have currently with integration of cats. Unfortunately out of 9 cats I could not really get any of them to like this. One cat ate one once when she was super hungry one morning, then wouldn't eat it again. I honestly don't think it should be so hard to make a medicated treat tasty. It's the key to getting it in the animal. Crunchy works best, IMO, or simply serve it as a powder that is stirred into wet food. I gave it 2 stars only because I am happy something like this exists, and I'm glad you tried to make it, but it needs a lot of improvement.

Unfortunately does not cure my dog paw licking, however kept as she likes it for a treat.
