The Edge of Never; A True Story of Skiing's Big Mountain Tribe

I have seen several movies starring Trevor Petersen and knew he died in an avalanche in Cham but never knew the details. The book and later this DVD pulled it all together. This movie put the faces on the characters in the book by the same name.

Really intense story, great skiing, amazing scenery. The cinematography is really beautiful and the story told is heart warming and a good moral example of reaching for your dreams.

The Edge of Never is not your typical ski movie. I first had the opportunity to meet the director and see it on the big screen. Unlike the classic ski films, this film is more about the story, and how a young boy grows up in the shadows of his father, and coming to terms with the mountain where his father last skied.As a skier, and father of two boys, the story really hits home.

Even if you don't ski - this story is amazing - heartwarming - and shows a strength that is in all of us, if we would only have a little faith. The filming is beautiful and the editing creates such a smoothness that you almost feel as if you were a part of the story in the first place.

One of the best videos about a boy learning from seasoned expert skiers on how to ski in the big mts of Europe. Glen Plake said it best there are no second chances. Great movie to watch with great music in the background.. Amust see.. AAAAA+

A great extreme sport video. A great story of a son following in his father's footsteps. I highly recommend it.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Buy rent but watch. The movie features unbelievable legendary skiers and a new star to be. Great footage, great locations. Puts things in perspective.
