I have been using this toilet seat for a few months now and appreciate it more each day. It was very easy to install and holds firmly in place once the bolts are tightened. I never realized what a difference a slow close lid would make. There is no noise at all as the lid slowly closes. Everything is included to attach to an existing toilet. The seat is well made, easy to clean and a lighter weight than the seat that was replaced (a nice bonus). The color and shape were a perfect fit. This is a great value from a reliable brand like Kohler.

This KOHLER 20110-0 Brevia Slow Close Elongated Toilet Seat has been a great upgrade! It fits our elongated bowl perfectly and the slow-close feature works exactly as advertised. I like these toilet seats a lot because the installation of both was simple and pretty straight forward. I had the wooden slow-close type of seats previously and I really loved them except that since they were painted they were a pain to keep the underside clean and you couldn't use any cleaning product with bleach on them. These seats feel a little flimsy to me. Perhaps I just need to get used to them? They do close slowly, and to me, a little too slowly. Perhaps because they are more lightweight? Initially one of the Kohler toilet seats made a high-pitched squeaking sound the entire time it was closing. Very strange because only the one in the guest bathroom does it, the one in the master bath makes no noises whatsoever. If I shift it makes a squeaking noise; which is kind of embarrassing to me, but my cats don't seem to mind it. *LOL* Update: Perhaps it needed a brief break-in period because the squeal as it closes has ceased. I'm really happy about that!

Easy to install. Works well. Eliminates the slamming of the seat and cover.
