Solid built and works well

I wanted to have a simple flat pedal for my road bike when I am not using binding. I didn't want a metal one, since it hurts when a metal pedal hits my leg (It happened too many times). Also typical metal pedals are for mountain bikes and they tend to be too big for my taste. I also didn't want to spend much for backup pedals :) At the end the choice was between these pedals or Schwinn pedals, but the default is 1/2 inch with the Schwinn pedals, and you have to put the included adapters to the pedals to use them with the standard road bike, which I didn't like. So I ended up with these pedals. Also, Schwinn pedals seem flatter, while these pedals seem to have longer tooth for anti-slipping, which I like. At the end I am happy. They look sturdy, but still don't hurt my legs when they hit my legs. They are light enough. Build quality looks good. The only complain is that they don't really spin. Either there's no bearing in them or the quality of bearing is bad. But I am happy for the price. Seems like they are sturdy enough to last for a while; hope they actually do.

Fit perfectly

It’s amazing to get and enjoy biking same next day. If I know it, will order long time ago.Only, still not sure what is right size of wrench to use to tighten up these pedals. I used 5/8, it’s little bigger but did the job.

They both arrived with the nut holding the pedal to the axle tightened so much that the ball bearings were binding. It would not free-spin at all. I loosened the nuts, and it would only free-spin once-around. I washed the "grease" out of the ball bearings, and now they both free-spun many times. I oiled the bearings with 90 wt gear oil, tightened the nuts, and now they work as they should. I have no idea how well they will last, as I have yet to ride them at all.

When a little day was learning to ride his "big" bike (Cleary Gecko), at first we took the pedals off to let him transition and use it like the strider he'd been using before. But then we lost the pedals! These are the replacement ones we bought and they worked perfectly. (And as is usually the case, they also made the original one show up a few weeks later.)
