THIS is the simple syrup used in Old Fashioned recipes at many exclusive whiskey bars and pubs. It has a unique flavor profile and is certainly not “simple syrup”. It may also not be to the liking of “purists” but for those who dare to push the envelope, it’s well worth the price.

Delicious...expensive
I ordered my bottle after seeing a Youtube in which Thomas Keller recommended it (and serves it). It is delicious with the subtle hint of bourbon. So far, I have been sipping it out of the bottle! It may never last until I get my waffle iron out.So why not five stars? Simply because -- in my world -- its superiority over more reasonably priced, quality maple syrups is not striking enough to justify the price. I would expect Thomas Keller to serve it; he is in the business of serving the very best.I am after peak culinary experiences as well as very good quality all the time. And I have a certain amount of money to invest in the pursuit of great ingredients...but not an unlimited amount. I was pleased...just not convinced that there are not more pressing needs in upgrading my larder.

THE BEST maple syrup ever!
The 2st time I tasted this syrup, my daughter gave me some and I couldn't believe how tasty it was. Here we are 5 years later and I'm still ordering and love love love the way it taste. Sometimes I use it in my sweet potato souffle'. If you haven't tried it, please do...you will love it!

Yummy
I love this bourbon maple syrup. I gift it often. If you love to cook this product is the absolute top of the pack. I have to hold myself back from drinking it straight from the bottle!

Amazing to cook with
I use this to cook with one of my favorites is caramelized onion which I put on a smashed burger covered in sharp cheddar cheese absolutely awesome so much flavor completely worth the price.

Really tasty!
I heard about this syrup on a food podcast and finally opened the wallet to buy it. Soooo delicious!!! This is a great syrup for pancakes, waffles, and adding to roasted veggies (we tried it with brussel sprouts)
