Boa Noite, Lontrinha do Mar / Good Night, Little Sea Otter (Portuguese and English Edition)

I really like this book because it allows me to practice my French and teach my son through it. It's a lovely story that's entertaining. It’s illustrations are cute too.

This is such a cute book if you’re a bilingual family or just simply want to teach your kids another language this is great. We read it every night at bedtime it is one of my daughter’s favorites, the illustrations are beautiful and eye catching.

I have two Great-Nieces who are sisters (one is still a baby & the second is an advanced toddler). I bought the Otter shaped book for the baby sister and bought this book for the "older-toddler" sister. Their mother is a Teacher and is bilingual so she is teaching the girls. This child's book version is English & French and also beautifully illustrated. Who knew learning could be so much fun. I accompanied this book with a larger version stuffed Otter, so both sisters have a stuffed animal that relates to the their book. I know they will enjoy this!

This book is adorable. The illustrations are beautiful. We have had the book for 8+ months now and my son has asked to read it EVERY night since we bought it.

I got this book to my niece and my nephew this last Christmas and I couldn’t be happier. The story is so lovely, the translation is well done and the illustrations is the cherry of the top of this amazing cake.

My son loved the paperback version of this book, but the pages started to rip because we read it often. The paperback pages were pretty thin, so I decided to order the board book. The board book is square-shaped, so it cuts off a lot of ocean animals you'd find in the original paperback. My son immediately noticed that the octopus, narwhal, and whale were missing from this new version. I'll order a paperback version and keep both around.

My child loves this book. They use some obscure species. But all of them are real and true pictorial vision. My 2 year old wants to know what every single animal is. The story is very cute!

Bought this book so I can personally improve in my Portuguese since it is not my native language. Well, thanks to this book it gave me a lot of confidence but also opened my own children to learn the language as well. The story is so adorable, I can't wait to pass this onto my baby nephew.

Story is very cute , and the illustrations are wonderful. Words are too long, not too short. My student was engaged throughout the entire book.

This is a very sweet story and has absolutely stunning illustrations. The diversity of marine life is captured beautifully. My toddler loves it.

Love the dual languages and that the book is read right to left. Sweet story and culturally inclusive book.

I bought this book in its bilingual (English-Portuguese) version for my Portuguese husband to read to our children. The translation is fine, but more Brazilian Portuguese.

brilliant quality
