The taste was way too sharp!
I am sorry to say I couldn't even eat a single serving. I will eat food I don't like so its not wasted but I could not force myself to eat it. I am not trying to be cruel the flavor was simply too sharp and the orange tasted artificial. I don't think it was but that's what it tasted like. I am going to give the other 2 packets away. I may try another flavor but we'll see.

Just my personal taste but...ICK!
I got this through Subscribe and Save for my breakfast at work. The texture is similar to I thought it would be, and I read what previous reviewers said about the coconut, but I am really not a fan. The almond flavor seems like a coverup for some weird flavor and odd almost pineapple-like smell. Really, it's hard to describe. Maybe if I were stuck in a rainforest somewhere and this was the only thing to eat, I'd make myself do it. Until then, I think I'll stick to oatmeal or Belvita cookies. Now I'm not sure what to do with the two other packets. I know the kids will never in a zillion years eat them. :(

+ flavor, + convenient, -- calories
It is good to have choices for breakfast and this is one of the better quinoa options. The flavor of the blueberry is pretty good but but for me this cereal has way too many calories for the serving size when compared to regular quinoa flakes and my own sweetener choice.I'd give it four stars for taste and convenience, but the high calorie count brings it down to just 3 stars. I plan to reserve my two packets for hunting, & camping since it only requires being warmed up to eat it.

Tasty
The cereal was easy to heat and eat. I put a little coffee creamer on it. I found it very tasty. I think they are too expensive though. I have some quinoa so I think I will try making my own with some banana and cinnamon. If you don't have time to eat breakfast these would be good to take to work if you have a microwave.

convenient breakfast and pretty good coconut flavor
This review is for the honey almond flavor.I guess I didn't read the package very well because I expected this to be something dry that you add hot water to. Instead, it's already hydrated -- all you need to do is warm it up briefly. But that's not a problem -- it may actually be a good thing, since you get whole, cooked quinoa grains this way (instead of flakes to rehydrate, which I don't like much). You had better like coconut if you are going to eat this (I do). Coconut cream is the second ingredient after water. Because of that, this has a rather large amount of fat (10g; includes 8g of saturated fat). Actually, though, the fat is a plant fat (better for you than animal fats) and coconut oil has some health benefits, plus it's pretty well balanced with protein (5g) and a little bit of fiber (2g) and should give you the energy to keep going for awhile. There is some added sugar here (13g of total sugars, most of which probably come from honey), so watch out for that.I like the texture a lot, but then I eat a lot of quinoa. If you've ever cooked quinoa, you'll know what to expect. The taste is pretty good, too. There's a lot of coconut, of course, but the honey is detectable, as well. The almond is a little harder to notice. And the quinoa's natural flavor is also evident. Overall, it's a good mix.I'm not sure that I'm ready to totally drop my rolled oats (with cranberries, cinnamon, walnuts, and hemp seeds) for this, but it's a nice change of pace. It's vegan and gluten free, and the pouches are BPA-free. This could be an especially good option for travel for someone with celiac disease or a gluten intolerance, as I have noticed hotel breakfast bars are pretty heavy on bagels and toast and such.

Bitter tasting
I tried it both hot and cold. It was bitter tasting, as though it had not been washed before processing. I was very disappointed as I love quinoa and was looking for an quick and easy breakfast option.

Healthy but...
This is probably healthy diet stuff but texture and clumps are a real turn off. You have to add too much other items cover up taste like brown sugar, cream, etc. to make it palatable. Wouldn't recommend or buy again.

This is gray, not violet
I like quinoa, coconut, and blueberries, but wasn't a big fan of this. Also, be aware that this is not a pretty violet color. This looks gray and almost moldy (but it wasn't). The appearance doesn't help.
