After one day, I like them a lot. They are a bit thicker than steel files (harder to get under nail edges), but much thinner than large files. They seem sharp—feel almost sticky on skin, but slide over nails easily, and seem to be fine grain, but still remove extra nail very quickly! My nails feel smooth and look more even than usual. If they last, they are worth 5 stars, easy!

I have purchased various sets and am very happy with these. They never seem to go dull and are very easy on my nails. I got tired of having bare/worn spots on the standard emery boards after a few uses. The color and quality are very nice and I like that there are various sizes. Having just received these files and given them a quick tryout, I have to say I like them a lot. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that the tip is too thick to clean under your nails before clipping and filing. All my previous experience has been with metal nail files and these are a whole different animal. The grit feels much more even when filing, and it leaves the filed edge of the nail noticeably smoother. Have glass files always been around, or are they a recent thing? Because I wish I'd had these all my life. They're so nice to use, and they clean out so easily, just a quick wipe on your pants and it's clean...wipe it twice and nothing comes out of it on the second one. Another difference from metal files. As far as longevity, I can't attest to that because I just received them. I looked at them under 20X magnification and I can't tell if the grit is added to the surface of the glass or somehow created from the surface. It looks like a bazillion little round balls under magnification, which makes me think it may be added to the surface, because how would you create that raised, round-ball, symmetrical effect otherwise. It seems to me that if the glass were bead-blasted or the surface was created some other way, that the grit would appear as indented round spots instead of raised round spots. I'm no glass expert or product engineer, so take my analysis for what it's worth to you. Overall, I'm very impressed so far, and as long as these keep their abrasive properties over time, I will continue to be. Mine arrived with each file in its own black velvet-like pouch. They do not have any brand marking on them, and they appear exactly as pictured.

I purchased the 3 piece set. They are amazing. They give you a smooth file every time without the need to change files or buff your nails. It works equally well on thin nails as well as thicker nails. They are thick file is thick enough not to easily break and thin enough to fit under short short nails close to the finder tips. Fablous file never used glass file before, won't go back to any other file after this, nails look so much better and is softer to use. My nails don't chip or get weak using this file.

Al principio tenía dudas de que fueran a llegar enteras por ser de cristal y el ajetreo del envío internacional, pero llegaron en excelentes condiciones. A mí parecer, las limas de cristal son mejores para las uñas naturales porque las maltratan menos y dejan un acabado muy bonito.
