Phantasy Star Online Version 2 - Sega Dreamcast

v.2 is an upgrade of the original PSO. It's basically the same as the first one except there's more rares, the introduction of Ultimate Mode, a level upgrade from 100 to 200, and also you can transfer your character from the original PSO.The only problem is that it may be too easy to get rare items offline, along with that Ultimate mode is broken, and what I mean by that is, unless you build a Force right, it's impossible. Magic damage barely hurts the first wave....But despite that, and for the fact that I love this game....OVERALL:5/5

It's perfect for fans of Phantasy Star and Dream Cast collectors. It's only downfall is that Episode II is not on the Dream Cast version, and that an online id and code will be required when making a new character, every time. Also, split screen play is not available in the Dream Cast version, unfortunately. The gamecube and pc versions are probably better due to their content, and the gamecube version has split screen play. All in all, not a bad buy for the price. The loading times for some of thw renders are a little slow... but not terrible.

great game, it was used I think because the hinge on the case was broken and the shrink wrapping job looked like it was done after the fact. But it doesn't matter! The game works perfectly and the registration code worked so I'm able to play the game, also the shipping was pretty quick, thanks =)

I bought this knowing that the servers would no longer be up. I figured i would just play the single player mode in the game. However you still need to link the game with your system and if you buy it used it will not come with the code needed and will be unplayable

If you like this game you stand alone, I was angered with this game for a few reasons. First they kill the story of phantasy star, and it does not have the enjoyment feel of the older ones. Secondly, it just isnt fun you flay the same levels over and over again. Eat the same food over and over again and eventually you cant take it anymore. Thats how it made me feel.

I understand it came as it said in a generic case but they should have at least clean the disk before sending it out and testing it I had to go pay to get it clean.

what a blast from the past! i dont believe that any servers exist today (could very well be wrong) but with no online requirement that wont stop you from having a good time in this innovative game

But the problem is that, i didn't receive the book that has a code for this game to start up, and i received a broken system. Hopefully the next system will let me play my game!

Es ist für heutige Verhältnisse sicherlich kein besonderes Spiel mehr. Es ist relativ kurz und die Anzahl an Möglichkeiten im Spiel ist auch ziemlich begrenzt. Aber es ist trotzdem eines meiner absoluten lieblings Spiele geworden und ich kann jeden nur raten sich die Arbeit zu machen und seine Dreamcast online zu bringen. Ich weiss es ist wirklich nicht einfach aber es ist es meinner Meinung nach absolut Wert und eines der schönsten online erlebnisse die ich habe. Für Dreamcast Spieler Sollte heute in 2013 der Sylverant PSO server die beste Wahl zum online spielen sein.
