Chapter 5 Xbee Smart Power Switch Chapter 6 Wireless Alarm System Chapter 7 ...
I gave this book 4 stars because the title and description are misleading. This book is not about using Labview to write code to run on Arduino. Instead it is about using LINX. For more Information on LINX perform a Google search using the term "Gerting Started wih LINX (Labview Hacker)"The book provides the following examples.Chapter 3 Controlling a Motor.Chapter 4 Simple Weather Station.Chapter 5 Xbee Smart Power SwitchChapter 6 Wireless Alarm SystemChapter 7 Remote Controlled Mobile RobotA short book About 100 pages in length.

Out Of Date & Overpriced
It's out of date and overpricedThis shows you how to download and interface LINX with LabVIEW - this is helpfulLINX and the Arduino library have been updated since this book was published and so this text is now out-of-date.I'm just finished chapter 3 but I'm not impressed with the depth of this text. Why do these manuals fail to include schematics? Is it really that hard to create a simple schematic? They like to provide wiring pictures which are okay as a supplement to a schematicAlso, a bill of materials would be helpful as wellThere's no help for problems - I had several issues communicating with my Arduino UNO in Chapter 3Couldn't find help that solved my problem on the Makerhub - turned out that resetting the UNO with the on-board reset button helpedLINX, for me, with my MacMini, running Parallels and Windows 10 in a VM under OSX, is touchy ... unstableAnd adding the fact that this book is now wrong - I'm not happy. Be aware - read the help for the LINX vi as they're different as presented in this book.

Good information for getting up and running.
Examples were well written except the wireless connection was a little vague if you weren’t familiar with the zig bee application using the labview block diagrams. For not. much printed matter using arduino and linx it’s a good start by the author to get youUp and running. The MakerH ub videos on YouTube and examples supplied with the Linx Free app all contribute to a successfulExperience.

It contains some good projects you can do
For a book that's only 100+ pages, it does cover a lot. If your a Labview user and play around with the Arduino, this book will help get you started. It contains some good projects you can do. Why no five stars? Be nice if it contained even more projects, but it did get me started to continue on.

I enjoyed this book
I enjoyed this book: easy read with useful packed and practical information about setting up and using LINX with LabVIEW and Arduino. This book is a fast read if you are already familiar with Arduino and gets you started quickly with LINX and LabVIEW. If you are looking for a way to set up input panels/controls and output monitoring panels for your arduino projects this is perfect. For the absolute beginner the book explains in easy steps practical hardware projects that you can put together with no code at all.I am fairly familiar with Arduino, but was not much on LabVIEW, so for me this book helped me to get started easily on a graphical tool like LabVIEW.

For those with interest in Programming Arduino using LINX and Labview the books provides a nice start. I will use it for building a litte weather station at home. The Analyse of Data using Labview is quite handy.

Stealing my money for nothing.
I bought kindle version of this book and never received it. So it was a clear robbery. I would never recommend this book.

A bit pricey and only coversthe high level LINX functions.
Good for getting you up and running with the higher level LINX VIs but disappointingly does not include the low level Arduino access VIs including the sensor processing blocks. A bit expensive for 85 pages!

Three Stars
It's best that you have some previous experience of using Labview to get the best out of this book.

Buono come nozioni base
