The gloves worked fine for about six hours and then the middle finger tip on the left glove ripped right open. The activities the gloves were used in were not heavy duty so I wasn't expecting these to break so easily. I mended them and used them for another week or so before going to a hardware store and purchasing a different pair of gloves as these ones began to sort of unravel. The padding and grip on the gloves were adequate but the materials could have been sturdier.
