These are the pads to have if you enjoy camping. The pad does not take up much space and fits nicely in the bag. It comes with. It really helps to keep sand out of our sprinter van, especially when we are camping at the beach.

Its been a while since I purchased this mat. This camping trip is my first time using it and I love it! It is working great for allowing water to pass through from rain, keeping the camper cleaner, and does allow sand through. I just sweep it off to remove stones, leaves etc. I can walk outside with my dog in my socks.. a win win at the campground! I would buy this again for sure. You can use the rings on the edge to stake it down, but I didnt need that this time around.

Used this for the first time this past weekend. Camping in Florida with it outside the tent. Sand just disappears through it and kept tent much cleaner than the bamboo rug I used to use. A little pricey but sure works well.

I will keep this one even though it's not "perfect". It does what it says as sand goes through it with minimal effort. It does work better on beaches with FINE sand - the one we took it to was a little more coarse. In this case, MOST of the sand went through, but the larger particles didn't. The upside is that brushing off LARGE particles is way easier then trying to brush off SAND. WIll try on campground next.

Just took this camping on Lake McConoughey, where it's all fine sand. We put this outside our camper, and the 6x6 size is the perfect size for walking in and out. It works so well, whisking the sand off your feet. You can even see the diminshing footsteps as you walk across it. Wet feet will still hold sand, but this was a great addition to our camper. Totally worth the price. Other items I came across were just large towels, but this is a mat designed to let sand fall through. This would be good for picnics, camping, or other outdoor activites. It rolls up easily, and the sand shakes right off so there's no cleaning involved.

I researched a ton before I bought this rug/mat. We use two mats to spread in front of our camper door and it works great. At every campsite, I have people ask me for the link so they can replace their outdoor porch rugs that are difficult to fold and heavy when they get wet. PROS: Easy to fold away when traveling. When it rains, we fold it up and put it in plastic bin. It dries out very quickly since it's a plastic weave. Instead of buying one very large, we purchased two so it's easier to pack. We camp on dirt and sand, and it's freakin' great at keeping the stuff below the mat. Easy to clean - we hang it over fence and spray with hose. It's dry in less than an hour. CONS: bit expensive (but well worth it).

This mat is awsome for a windsurfing rigging mat. Sand falls rigth through the mat & it doesn't want to lift in the wind like regular tarps. You still need to anchor it down, but not nearly as much as a normal tarp. The only downside is if that foxtails & other grasses can get stuck between the two layers. If that occurs I lay the mat out at home & use a shop vac to pull them out.

Love this mat! Works great and it actually fits in the storage bag! Easy cleaning.

We’ve had this for a few years now, love it. It’s great. Extremely durable, once sand dries it works as advertised. Zero complaints from a long term user.

It's expensive but it really works! OK on bare skin, but they do a softer version if that might annoy you. IMHO this version is more effective and more robust, for me it is a keeper!

We’ve had our 12 x 12 for awhile and use all the time at the beach! No more sand! We bought another one so we had two for camping! Kept our area clean and dry! Highly recommend!
