It does what it needs to do. My body needed a little assistance so here I am joining the Metamucil club at 55.I’m alright with it. Just wish the price was a bit lower. I prefer the one with sugar but it’s getting harder to find.

I have been taking this supplement as prescribed by my doctor for several years. It is very easy to take and I do enjoy the flavor also. It is vey easily dissolved in water and promotes good gut health. I have tried other fiber supplements in the past and always come back to this brand. Overall, a good buy considering the amount of doses in each package. Highly Recommended.

Obviously it does what is advertised, but this product contains a LOT of sugar for not very many grams of fiber per serving. I hate plain Psyllium Husk, so what I do is mix a serving of this with a plain husk powder, and it still masks the taste great but it delivers a better portion of fiber each day with less sugar than I would get if I exclusively used Metamucil.

As the saying goes, what works for one, may not work for another.My husband and I both take fiber supplements per our doctor's recommendation, but we have to take different brands. I tried taking Metamucil and it gave me horrible watery diarrhea that I could barely control. No thanks. Hard pass. My husband tried it and had no issues whatsoever. He liked the flavor, found it easy to mix and it helped keep him regular. Regardless, he still tried the brand I switched to, hoping we could take the same one. Nope. That one caused nothing but chronic constipation for him. Good times. Back to Metamucil he went! So now I take my preferred brand and he takes Metamucil and we're both happy. The price is pretty much the same for both and they are covered under my HRA. That makes me even happier.

We use Psyllium Husk Powder daily. Works great. Recommended.
