The Napping House Board book – September 1, 2000

I sent a copy of this book to 2 great grandkids. They love it

This book was a family favorite when my children were young. I was delighted to see it made as a board book so even younger children can enjoy this book. Fun story as well as beautiful illustrations.

Always on the look out for books kids will enjoy but that I also like reading to them. Read this to my 3 year old at a friends and went home and ordered this to have for myself. Its a cute/clever story that builds from one person sleeping to muliple animals..so there is some anticipation as you turn the page..what next? THEN it all falls apart starting with the most recent animal, going through to the original sleeper. Very nice illustrations.Its also of good quality. Sometimes board books can look more "cut out" with edges not as smooth but this one is in great condition.

First bought this wonderful book for my youngest daughter (who is now 32yrs old). Got another copy for my grandson. It’s fun to watch the progression of ‘mappers’ as the story unfolds and the illustrations are magical.

This book was a favorite for my children. Now, I purchased it for my Godson+ my neighbor

Don and Audrey Wood are one of our favorite children's’ book authors. This book is a real gem. Our daughters LOVED this book when they were little and now have requested it for their own children. I couldn’t resist buying this knowing the giggles our girls had. It is a classic rhyming book with a growing pattern. The granny takes a nap and is joined by several animals. A fun book where the children are engaged to chime in on the repeated patterns.

Got this used book.. it arrived it superb condition. Baby seems to love it. Classic.

It's a good story but I didn't really take in that it was a large book! Much too big to hold comfortably and read to one child; it's fine for a teacher to read to a class.

Great story for little ones. Everyone ends up sleeping on top of eachother but then one they each wake eachother up through fright, typical of a household of people!

Not wha I was expecting. I don't really enjoy reading it to my child. Quite borring.

Highly amusing for a toddler, though I feel the illustrations could have been a little colourful!
