FINALLY! After a few dozen tries, I found a cell phone holder for my MBZ round vent!! I tried so many types but nothing worked in my new car. The other specific round vent holder I found had horizontal clips so the vent just collapsed under the weight. This one is vertical and and has a stopper to keep the vent from falling. It clipped in within seconds and held my 6 plus easily. It has a firm hold on the phone but yet easily releases. I also like that you simply press your phone into the holder and the center button (on the base) is automatically pressed in to lock in your phone. The only negative is to release, you have to reach under the phone, which I found a bit awkward, but it’s a minor problem after my extensive search. I highly recommend for Mercedes round vents.

I ordered this prior to our Hawaiian vacation. I knew we were renting a ford mustang, so specifically ordered this with the round vents in mind. Thankfully the car had the round vents and we were off and running, top down (when it wasn't raining or too hot) and it worked great the entire week. Sadly now that I'm home my current car doesn't have the round vents and while I tried to use it on the rectangular vents (which worked for a bit) it busted a fin off inside the vent. I'm still looking for a product similar to this for my car and haven't found it again. If I had a car with the round vents, this would be what I'd use over anything else.

This car phone mount works quite well in my 2015 M-B C-300. It slips into place in the dashboard round air vent. And is held in place by spring loaded clips. It swivels and spins so that I can just it easily. Some might find the car vent a little loose, not quite stiff enough to hold the phone to their liking. I gave it four stars out of five for this reason. However, I found that quite easy to fix with a small piece of black velcro to match my interior.

this thing functions real well, clever design.I own 3, but the reason I own 3 is because if you use it in cold weather, and use the heater and cant block the heat from the port that its attached in, then the heat corrodes the rubber on the clamps, eventually making it brittle and it breaks off the clamps, and then it cant hold anymore in the vent. I fixxed it with tennis grip wrap, but the manufacture needs to invest in. a rubber that won't get brittle under heat cycles from the aircon.

The first time I inserted this through the air vent, it fitted perfectly in my Ford Fusion and was able to handle the weight of my iPhone XS Max with the case on. It was great but then it completely blocks the air so I would shift it a little bit. Now that it’s getting a little colder (I bought this in the beginning of September), I’ve been using the heater and all of a sudden my phone started tilting and it was popping off. I guess the rubber stopper on it melted and some pieces are stuck inside the air vent. It already looks worn out but still stays intact but it just looks ugly with the rubber pieces sticking out. Debating if I should buy a new one since it was probably my fault for misuse but then I don’t want that to happen again.

The media could not be loaded. I have a Jeep and a Toyota Tacoma, and both of those vehicles have circular air vents, which are usually difficult to manage with regular phone holders. They tend to turn and keep your phone unbalanced. This design is perfect for that problem. Real easy to use and it keeps the phone straight and its very durable, and easy to take off/put on your phone. Affordable and something to not even have to think about. A must have. I was originally looking at another holder but read lots of reviews about it breaking so I went with this one. Well..... I never got to use this because it broke as I was installing it. I pressed the spring clips together to insert into the vent but didn’t get a good install. Therefore as I was pulling it back out it the spring clips exploded sending pieces everywhere. I couldn’t find one of the two springs that shot out. So back it goes. I will order something else.

It's hard to find even one holder that's designed to fit into a round air vent. Lucky enough, that this one turns out to also be a good one. It fits and holds on to the air vent very nicely without any risk of damaging the vents. The holder itself holds onto the phone very snugly and really like the quick release buttons on each side. The design feels very ergonomic when using it. I really like this product a lot and feel very lucky to have found it.
