These claws are interesting. They do shred meat extremely well, and are a great tool that I never knew I needed. They would have received a 5 star rating, but when working close to hot meat, it’s just a little too close. You would have to let the meat rest and cool for a while before shredding, so if you are making a meal in a hurry, these claws just may be a little too close for comfort. But, these will find a permanent home in our RV, and the hand apron that comes along with the claws is light yet sturdy enough to hold up to frequent BBQs. I love these meat claws! I'd been wanting to try a pair for a while when I ordered these. I have spent hours before shredding meat for salads and sandwiches and the hand cramps were awful! Not to mention having to wait for the meat to cool down completely before being able to shred. That's a hassle and can take a while and when you want to get dinner prepared quickly being able to dive right in like you're able to do with the claws is such a time saver! My package arrived promptly and nicely packed. There was also a free apron included which was a very nice surprise and came in handy when tearing into that juicy meat! The claws have a nice fit and worked well for a female and male grip. I was able to shred both a chicken and a roast nicely. The work went much quicker than when I'd been using a fork or even my hand before. Having two claws was helpful as I was able to use one to hold and one to shred. This is definitely a product that you don't know you need until you use it and then wonder how you lived without it!**I was offered this product at a discounted price in return for my honest review.**

Although I don't cook or barbeque huge quantities of meat, I could find great use for this shredder. I like to make chickens in my crockpot, or roast them in the oven, then shred them for a myriad of easy recipes. I also cook turkeys and roasters during the holiday. This shredder meat claw was perfect for removing my roasted chicken from the hot crock pot, in a neat and easy fashion. I was also able to shred the whole chicken without having to wait for it to cool, or using two regular forks, which never works out right for me. It is SO much easier with these claws, I wish I would have looked into something like this years ago. Did I mention that this set also comes with an apron? You get a nice water and grease proof nylon apron to help you in your endeavors. All in all, I found these claws (and the apron) to be a good quality kitchen tool that I would recommend to anyone. I went to the store just so I could roast it to shred it with the CLAWS (which is really fun to say). I took the CLAWS (giggle) out of the package I was surprised by how sharp they were. Omg I also got a SUPER CUTE (husband says it's manly but whatever) apron! Ok, after the chicken roasted I put it in a big plastic Tupperware type thing to shred. I suggest NOT doing this, it was a pain, I think a regular cutting board would have been easier. But I put on my CLAWS (still giggle) and tore into the chicken. I did NOT hold one claw still and shred at first because I wanted to just kind of go crazy, but it really does make a difference. The chicken was cleaner looking when I followed the directions. I love my CLAWS (heheheeee) and am so glad they are exactly what they are! I received these CLAWS (winky face) at a discounted rate for an honest review. THIS is my honest review. I love them.

WOW! I really liked these meat claws! I was given a set of meat claws by a BBQ champion after participating in my first pulled pork competition and I have to say, these are as good as the "championship" meat claws.They're lightweight, but don't let that fool you. They're very, very sharp. I made a pork shoulder in the crock pot as I always do. When it was done and cooled I used the meat claws to pull it apart.They ripped right through the pork shoulder! Fantastic! They clean up beautifully. I highly recommend just washing them by hand with hot water and dish soap.BE CAREFUL when storing them. As I stated, these are SHARP! If you just toss them in a drawer you're going to end up "stabbing" yourself when you go looking for them.Strong, durable, get the job done. SHARP!The apron is cute too!
