These clippers are 18.3cm in length. The dimensions listed in the product description include the package. Everything about these clippers appears sturdy and should last for decades (unlike the junk in our local big box stores). They are easy to hold and right-left neutral.

I'm 73 with arthritis so regular clippers aren't always easy to use and tend to only last a season or two. These clippers cut like a hot knife thru butter and the great warranty gives me confidence that this will be my brand for life. I plan to purchase more of their products asap.

These are worth the money. Really strong, nicely manufactured, nothing like the junk I have pitched out.

Whatever spring or mechanism that allows these anvil cutters to automatically re-open after they've cut something, failed for me after about 10 easy cuts. I'm not a happy camper at all!! I threw away the package, so cannot return. I was replacing my very old anvil cutters that STILL work, but wanted a bit sharper blade. Those still open on their own, after 20-some years. These? They lasted all of about 20 seconds.They're German and had simple diagrams on the package, that didn't indicate a damn thing. There was a diagram of the area where a spring or mechanism should be located to re-open these, but I couldn't make heads or tails out of what it was indicating. That's IF it was indicating anything. The other diagrams didn't.Why any stars? --- These are small which is perfect for my med-small female hands. The design was extremely comfortable and ergonomic. That was until my arthritis kicked up, as I attempted to continue working, while manually re-opening these. *(Note: These would likely be too small for men with normal sized hands.) I tossed back into the garage and I've been using my new Fiskars bypass cutters. I knew I should have bought the Fiskars anvil cutters. $20.00 down the drain, with more expense for a WORKING pair. I expect something this simple to work.

I love anvil-style pruning shears, and found these to be almost perfect. The blade cuts clean, and has not so far gotten bent like several other pair from a different maker have recently. I do wish these were perhaps 10% larger in size, but they have not failed me yet.

Update 12.8.2020: Die Produktbeschreibung wurde korrigiert. Meine Anerkennung. Desweiteren habe ich die 10 Jahresgarantie auf der Verpackung gesehen. Damit erübrigen sich eigentlich die hier auch zu lesenden Rezessionen mit der gebrochenen Feder. Dann habe ich sie doch einmal ausprobiert und muss sagen die Schere ist doch qualitativ hochwertig und man Schaft doch was weg damit.. also nicht nur was für filigrane Hände ... Die Schnitte sind sauber und nicht gequetscht !Dafür nun volle Punktzahl.Damit revidiere ich auch meine ursprüngliche Rezession....Fazit vorweg: LÖWE Amboss-Schere kaufen und man hat lebenslang Freude dran !ich weiß nicht was eine Marke wie WOLF sich bei diesem Teil gedacht hat. Es ist für die "normalen" Anwendungen zu klein, da der Hebelarm einfach zu klein ist. Wenn man nur frische Rosen- oder Weintriebe bis 19 mm kürzen will, reicht diese Schere wohl aus - aber dann sollten man doch eher zum o. g.
