I read several reviews stating that various parts of this kit were cheap and broke or otherwise didn't work well, but I think it's a great value and as long as you aren't a gorilla, everything works well. The link remover only requires gentle force to push the pins from a watchband, so line everything up, give the screw a gentle twist with your thumb and index finger, and if the pin doesn't start to move, back off and try, again. (Also, make sure you are pushing it the right way by checking the arrow on the inside of the band.) It's not a professional set, but for a few bucks, you can save much more on basic watch and band repairs.

This tool kit actually worked when I adjusted the link bands on my watch. Some of the tools are pretty flimsy, especially the blue tool. The pin/needle can be easily bent if you apply too much pressure but it can easily be corrected. The tools were quite dirty, my finger tips began to turn black after using it for a few minutes. But for $8 this is a bargain if you just need to simply remove the link bands on your watch.

a relative who has a watch hobby suggested this kit when i just needed to replace some cotter pins in my seikos. decent set for the price, i didn't need all the tools but they are there if i need them. Plus its better than paying someone $20 just to replace some pins. and it was kinda of cool to do -it myself.

I am pleased with this purchase. While several pieces are made of plastic, as long as you don't force things it works great. For half of the cost of a jeweler doing the work, I did it myself in 5 minutes and I have the tools to do again if needed.

Works as it should, but it rather cheap quality. Also worth noting, the one I got did not come with the nylon carrying bag. All in all, I would suggest getting one of the higher priced models as I would expect them to be better quality and complete.

Nice set of tools for minor repairs and adjustments on watches. The tools worked well and are exactly as pictured, and do not include a bag, but that was no big deal since any plastic bag will due to keep the items together.

Not high end, but exactly what you need to adjust the size of your watch or any other jewelry repair. I only used a few of the tools in the kit, but the rest will probably come in handy some day. I watched a YouTube video as I sat down for my repair and it was really simple.
