Spoiler-Free Review
20th Century Boys, Vol. 6: Final Hope takes place almost exclusively in the alternate future of 2014. It is made up of two scenarios. First, a manga artist named Kakuta is put in a dismal and violent prison of the future. There, he meets a mysterious inmate known simply as "Monster." Also, Kanna is 17 now and working in a Chinese restaurant. The police are everywhere because of a Papal visit to Neo Tokyo. When a Chinese man is murdered, Kanna becomes involved with one of the witnesses and ends up on the run, herself.Urasawa's 20th Century Boys is a little different from Monster in that the digressions of plot go much further away from the main story; this volume is hard to keep track of. Still, the scenes are the type you just want to eat up. It's hard to read, and it's easy to read. While some have suggested that this series could have been 10 or 15 volumes instead of 24 (22 of 20th Century Boys and two of 21st Century Boys), so far I haven't seen anything I'd cut out. ****1/2

This is considered new? Nah.
Had a sticker on the back which left a lot of adhesive on the book after I peeled it off cause as a collector I don’t want it there. The book was damaged on the bottom that affected at least half the pages, very disappointing. Remember this item was listed as new.
