My dog loves chewing on these sticks. They shred somewhat, so I think that helps in cleaning her teeth. They are easy to cut in half with a pair of kitchen scissors. No smell really. My dog chews up half of a stick in about fifteen minutes; she is not a major chewer. The price is pretty high for the product though, so I probably won’t purchase again. Too bad as Maddie loves this teeth cleaning treat.

I have two dogs and they are both extremely spoiled when it comes to their treats. So they have a large selection to choose from. This is by far their favorite treat! As soon as they see/hear me getting these out they go into freak out mode. I love that it’s just one ingredient and that it’s healthy for them. Now the scent really leaves something to be desired. Yes they stink! But once your dog has devoured them and the bag is closed there is no more smell. It doesn’t linger so if you can get through a few minutes of it then you will be just fine. Also, they are crunchy but don’t expect them to last very long. While they can help clean their teeth a little as they eat it, if you are looking for something specifically for that purpose you are better off choosing something different. But if you just want a healthy, safe treat that your dogs will love then this is perfect for you.

Was feeding my dogs raw hides and then read an article about how bad these are for dogs. Was looking for an alternative and came across these. My dogs don't even think twice when I offer it to them. They gobble them down and beg for more. They do not smell bad - there's a small odor, but not overbearing by any means. They could be cut in half easily for smaller dogs. I have done this a couple of times when I was running low on them and didn't have enough until I got my next order. They are not super hard. Firm, but flexible. Like a tendon that has dried out. They don't last long - I have a lab and sheepdog - they are gone in minutes. So, down side, not as long lasting as a rawhide, but the comfort in knowing that they are healthier and providing some good nutrients for my dogs is worth it. They are expensive - wish they were a bit less so. I also buy my dogs fish skins and they love these too.
