I keep a Tide Pen nearby most of the time for any water-based stains and splashes, but this is the best stuff for any oil-based stains or spots. It works best on oil stains that originated from thinner oil sources, not so great on grease or solidified oils; mostly I've used it to get food-based oil out of clothes. It's even worked on oil stains that had previously been washed and dried without coming out. It does leave a lighter spot where the stain was, but most of the time it's less noticeable than the original stain, and with enough vigorous brushing with the included bristles most of the powder can be knocked away.

I love this stick. It works amazingly well on my carpet without making the carpet wet. This is my 2nd stick (I was given the 1st one). Although I use it up pretty quickly, it's so easy to use and so convenient, I'll be buying another once this one is used up. I recommend this highly.

Good touchup cleaner.

A coworker got an old stick from his grandmother. He pulled it out one day when I got some soy sauce on my shirt while we were eating sushi. I was in utter amazement when this stick removed the soy sauce, without water even. But since this coworkers stick looked like 100 years old, and was from his grandmother, I thought this was something I would never find, except in an antique shop. But nope. It’s available right here on Amazon! I have been carrying it around in my work backpack since, and it works! Amazing thing. Where has this been my whole life?

This will never work. I opened up the linens all powder. I can’t imagine putting chalk on my clothing like if I’m out and about it just doesn’t make sense to me, but I don’t really understand it and it’s very like made in China garbage so I don’t know don’t buy it. I recommend you not buy it. I’m certainly not gonna put it on my clothing at all ever I tried to give it away. No one would take it. It’s not a good product. The packaging is poor cheap. It just spent look like something anyone would put on your clothing ever

This works okay. Makes and leaves alot of dust. Suggest using it outside. The dust got on everything. I bought it for use on some large felt Christmas Mice. Cleaned them nicely. One thing it doesn't last very long. Really small to begin with. Not sure if it was a good buy for the money.

i have been using Janie for over 50 years. I bought my first Janie stick when I was 16. It is just the best for taking out grease stains on any fabric. it just magically absorbs the grease and then I just brush it away. The last time I purchased it was a gift to a friend. We were out together and she discovered two large spots on a brand new silk shirt. I put some Janie on the spots and cleaned it thoroughly. It did take two applications this time but the shirt is perfect. I highly recommend this product.
