Cover is great. Adds a layer of protection over the existing new cover. Fits nicely over our new Caldera Seychelles 7x7 hot tub. Material is strong and looks good. Waterproof! Has stayed perfectly in place throughout rain, wind. We have used this for four months so far and still looks new. I would absolutely recommend this. Great price as well.

I installed this cover on my hot tub as soon as I received it. We live in an exceedingly high-wind area, and the cover stayed put. It is as described. Arrived as expected. The price was reasonable. It looks good on the hot tub and holds up well. The drawstrings on all four corners are a nice addition to help keep it in place. I am also able to take the main spa cover off without removing this one. I purchased this cover in August 2018 and was very happy with it. It is now December 19, 2019 and the cover failed miserably. I was adjusting the cover and not pulling very hard to move it when it tore. I'm not happy with the length of time it lasted, but I purchased another one. It served the purpose of protecting my hot tub, which was why I purchased it. It did that very well and lasted longer, according to the new owners of the residence. The above review was from a few years ago. Since then, I have moved from Nevada to Southwestern Utah. The weather is harsher here. Triple digits, high winds, blowing red dirt, and an area formerly known as the downwinder area, which is a result of the U.S. testing all those atomic bombs in Nevada. Anyway, in my previous review, I expected the cover to last much longer than it did. It did do the job but, for some reason, gave out in under two years, causing me to purchase a second cover. I just replaced the first cover that I purchased for my hot tub in Utah, which I purchased in early 2020. Now, three years later, more or less I am replacing that cover. It started failing at the bend in the main cover. I have to say that the cover has performed quite well. Obviously, since I have stayed with this company and its product. For whatever reason, that cover I purchased in Nevada in 2018 gave out early. The cover I purchased in Utah in 2020 has hung in there even with the harsher weather. I don't know why, I don't care as long as it lasts, and it did. So I just put the latest cover on today, 6-28-2024. We,ll see out this one goes. Hopefully another three years. The price is fair for the product and it is as described. I will continue to purchase this product regardless of its longevity. I do highly recommend this cover. It comes in many sizes and looks great.

I’m so happy I bought this. It it the perfect fit 90x90 and covers my lift, easy to put on and waterproof. I’m noticing people are putting this on as a hot tub cover but I believe this is a cover to protect the main cover! I wish I would have bought one years ago as my 4” hard cover has sun damage, water issues and is basically shredding apart from outside elements. This is a perfect cover for my cover.

I have a Hot Springs Vanguard hot tub whose cover measures roughly 86 1/2" x 86 1/2". However, with my lift mechanism attached, there's an extra 2" on either side and another 8" on the back. Knowing this, I really wasn't sure which cover to order so based on the various answers I read about this, I ordered the 85" x 85" cover (whose actual dimensions are 87" x 87") and fully expected to remove the lift, put on the cover, and remount the lift on top of the cover. To my VERY pleasant surprise, the cover FITS OVER MY LIFT! No lift removal/reinstall necessary. Granted, it's ever so slightly tight against the lift arms on the side, but not enough, I feel, that it might harm the cover. I guess only time will tell. Overall (and again, I only JUST received it), I'm pretty happy with the cover. It fits perfectly, looks nice, and is super easy to take on and off, hence my 5-star rating. Hopefully it holds up to the full sun the hot tub receives for half the day and there is no wear caused by the lift arms. Fingers crossed! ****UPDATE**** Well, only 2 months on the hot tub and the top of my cover has already faded from deep black to a chalky gray/white. It's definitely in the sun for a good part of the day (maybe 6 hours) but I contacted the company about it nevertheless and received the following reply: "Because color fastness of fabric may vary by different UV exposure level of environment, we ensures you that color fade won't affect the fabric strength and protective function." SO, if you're buying this cover for a hot tub that is in the sun for several hours a day, be aware that the color may fade dramatically in a very short amount of time like mine did. I uploaded two pics so you can see what I mean. (It's much more noticeable in-person.) As a result, I've lowered the rating by 1 star.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this purchase!! I waited a year to post a review, because I wanted to see how it held up in the winter. We live in Iowa, so winters can be harsh. But it held up great!!!! I am actually really angry at myself for NOT buying this as soon as bought our hot tub. We bought our hot tub in 2020, and bought this cover protector Aug 2025. We had to replace the hot tub cover this year. We should have last year, but the cover protector helped us keep it for one more year. Now that we have a new top, I'm sure it'll last way, way longer now that we also have this cover protector!!!! Not sure if they fade, because we bought beige.

I have had my hot tub for approximately 10 years and have replaced cover once and the one I have now is in very sad shape desperately needing replacement. We live in the upper Midwest USA and the snow and ice don’t do any favors to the insulated cover. For those of you who haven’t had to replace an insulated cover — they are definitely not cheap! This cover is awesome for a couple of reasons. The first being that it helps protect the insulated cover from the worst of the weather, cold, ice, snow, and even sun damage. Also I could swear that with this cover on over my insulated cover I have less evaporation, and less rain water and dust, dirt getting into the spa water. As relatively inexpensive as this cover is — I think of it as almost a sacrificial cover to protect the much more expensive and difficult to replace insulated cover. Our hot tub sits on the north side of our house and there is absolutely nothing (no trees, no other houses or buildings, nothing) to protect it from the strong winds, blowing snow, and ice, and whatever else Mother Nature decides to throw at it. Prior to having this cover we would be lucky to get 5 years out of an insulated cover and probably should have replaced it before then. AFTER we put this cover on, however, the insulated cover still looks brand new after we had it installed for a year. And that was a year that included the extremes of weather that we are known for in this part of the country. I just recently bought a 2nd cover, because the first one got ripped. That was NOT the fault of the cover, but rather my own carelessness. One day not too long ago it was extremely windy and the cover was blowing up a bit, so I went out with bungee cords and tried to secure it down better. I ended up pulling too hard and ripped it. That one was on me. But even if this cover only lasted 1-2 years it is well worth the money. Far cheaper than the insulated cover! It actually looks nice too when installed. My only regret is not knowing about this cover and buying one sooner. It is well worth the money!!

I bought this cover to go over my somewhat old hot tub cover for added protection. It did the job pretty well and definitely holds off water and likely helps with energy efficiency. It stood up pretty decent to wind as long as you ratchet down the straps pretty tight. It does make accessing the tub a hassle so it's most good for long term protection when you are not trying to use your tub often. Just under 2 years from purchase this item basically broke via a large tear while attempting to put it back on the hot tub. The material had basically weathered and become brittle. Feel like it def should have lasted longer, but it was in somewhat direct sunlight for a good chunk of the time.
