Ampersand Floater Frames are the perfect solution for finishing any wood panel artwork. Made from premium hardwood with a wider base to eliminate damage to panels. The deeper rabbet depth was designed for wood panels, but can also be used with stretched canvas. Artwork can be attached with the screws provided into pre-drilled sunken holes for a smooth back that will be flush to the wall. Also includes eyelets and wire for hanging. Works Well with Ampersand Surfaces
I love this frame, just wish it had glass to protect my oil pastels. I know other reviewers say they have odd sizing, and that is true. But, it’s because Ampersand designed these products to work with their surfaces (Pastelbord, Gessobord, cradled panels, etc.). They are versatile enough for other surfaces, though. I framed my oil pastel that was made on Ampersand Pastelbord, and it’s a perfect fit. It’s a bit finicky to get the picture to float correctly, but I’ll definitely buy more frames. Only complaint is this seller originally sent me the wrong frame. Amazon resolved that issue pretty quickly.
