Heavyweight, good quality
The sheets are a nice thickness, sturdy, and translucent. I used them with my 4th-5th grade students to create simple "stained glass" looking ornaments. The sheets maintained their shape even when we cut them into smaller shapes, but they were not too thick for the kids to cut with scissors. I was able to photo copy a design onto the vellum but the ink had a tendency to run and flake off, because the vellum has a fairly slick surface. This was exactly what I was looking for!

Avoid at all costs!
Horrible product that this noted for ink, watercolor and gouache applications. I spent hours drawing a sailing scene in ink to discover the vellum warped over night!!! What a waste of time and a significant financial impact!

This is an authentically heavyweight vellum.
I use this vellum for card making. Its weight is wonderfully heavy. Using a substantial weight vellum like this is a real pleasure because it increases opacity and is easier to manipulate. I have purchased two pads of it twice now.
