Zingz & Thingz Home Decorative Wooden Zen Garden Kit, Tabletop, 7x6.25x2.25

I just received this today (ordered it yesterday! CRAZY!) and I have to say I am very happy with my purchase. I was very turned off by some of the reviews I had read (cheap quality, not enough sand, rocks are weird, etc...). My Zen garden came in in perfect shape: - It's the same size as it is shown in the picture (about 10" by 8") - Enough sand was given/provided. I would hate to have it overflowing, and besides it's not supposed to. - The small rocks are real, heavy, and pretty. The two bigger ones (with the chinese writing on them), are not real stones (def man made compound) but they do their job just fine: they sit still on the sand and look pretty. - The candle holder is actually really nice. The set does NOT come with a candle though. - Rake, small flexible (it won't break unless you are trying) plastic. Not wood. Works just fine. - Whole kit sturdy and heavier than I expected. Overall VERY happy with it. Had two friends over today and they played it without my even pointing it out, so mission accomplished! and all for under $10!!! Heck yea

I was so impressed by this little zen garden - I picked one up as a gift for my boss over my internship, and it looks identical to the picture. I love the space for a tea candle in the corner, and they provide just the perfect amount of sand and rocks. The rake is made out of a very light wood, not plastic, which adds to the all-natural effect. The rocks/sand are all various-colored neutrals, so this won't clash with any room decor you have. I was actually surprised by how heavy the box felt when I got it in the mail; this is a quite durable product. For the price, this did not feel cheap at all. Unfortunately I don't have a desk in my room, but if I did, you bet I would buy one for myself.

I just opened this up after receiving it as a Christmas present, and I have to say I really like it! My life is kinda stressful, so being able to smooth the sand out with the rake (which is plastic, not wood) was a plus! The candle holder looks like it's made of concrete and has a pretty, square design on all four sides, and it does NOT come with a candle of any kind (fine with me as I can't have one in my room). My bag of sand had a tiny rip in it, so there was a little bit to clean up after assembly. The two big rocks shown in the picture are smaller in reality, and one of them is made from wax. I got a lot of rocks for the section next to the candle, so I had to do some careful arranging to make it look neat. Currently my biggest problem is that the container scratches EASILY. There were a few dings on it when I opened the package up (it came inside a cardboard box and was heavily wrapped with bubble wrap and secured with tape) and I accidentally chipped a corner while moving it. I'm planning on using a marker or nail polish to cover it up. All in all though, I'm a fan and I look forward to using it! :)

I don't know why the other reviews have had negative things to say about this item. I got it as a gift and I opened it up to double check the i teams because of the reviews that had been posted, and found that my order was in great condition with great art work on the rocks and a strong wrack and nice soap stone candle holder. Yes the item does not have a tea light candle included in the package but that is clearly stated it the overview. The item is worth every dime if not more.... I Will by this again for other friends in the future....now I just have to find a bonzi try . Please buy this item with a clear and worry free mind. The rocks with the zen and marking on them are also in good condition. Great buy for the price and it makes a wonderful desk / office item... Happy shopping

Saw bad reviews and almost didn't buy, but glad I did. It's a good size, came bigger then I expected and makes a lovely decoration. All but one of the rocks they send is real and all in great condition. The rake is plastic, would suggest painting it if you want it to look nicer. Candle holder not chipped and came with plenty of sand. Product does not come with a candle, that needs to be bought separately. All in all, a great buy and it looks nice next to a bamboo plant!

I got this today and it looks exactly like the pictures. The reviews almost persuaded me not to get this, but I don't get what the anger is about. Mine came with plenty of sand, all the rocks, the rake and the candle holder. It's a little bigger than i thought it'd be, so i don't think it's 'desk top' size, it's more for a counter or a table. it's great decor, everyone in my house loves it. all you have to do is buy some candles for the candle holder and you're good to go. i love this garden. 5 thumbs up.

I purchased this small garden because my adult son has ADHD. In order to have a conversation with my son, he must have something to do with his hands. This little garden did the trick. He can sit and we can discuss business while he works on the tabletop garden. I never told him it was for him, he came over and sat down, noticed it on a side table and started playing with the sand, rake and rocks. We had a two hour long conversation with a minimum of disruption, distraction and frustration. This morning, I watched my son teach his 6 year old son how to use the zen garden, and we were all able to discuss the garden without any distractions. I love this little garden. There was a perfect amount of sand, the rocks are fun and the little rake is perfect. I do not put candles in the holder, I have a small vase I float a gardenia in when my boys are not self soothing the garden. As soon as I see them coming, I move my gardenia and leave the garden for their use only. Glad I found this and we have all benefited from a little zen!

This zen garden is just what I was expecting it to be. The base is sturdy and I like the variety of the sand with the pile of rocks and candle holder. The only thing that I have trouble with is keeping the sand inside the area when I rake it, but that is more my lack of skill than a fault of the product. I had bought a thing of river stones and found flatter ones so to make stacks in the sand rather than the rounder ones that came with this. Excellent product for the price - doesn't seem cheap at all!

Got this as a Christmas gift for someone and they love it!

The setting us good, but the rocks poor quality! For a gift, I was dissapointed.

It will make a great Christmas gift.

Super

Good addition to luck in my room
