Can you explain how the Magnets in the wooden lid will not affect my Swiss made automatic watches ?? Thanks

I have automatic watches and it has not affected any of them. I have had it now for more than a year.

Will the magnets in the watch box magnetize my mechanical watches? As is seems counter intuitive to have magnets near watches as it may damage them.

Hi. The magnets are embedded and since the lid doesn't have a handle, they are a bit light. They have been tested and they won't damaged your watches.

Can the spacers come out?

Hey Ben, The spacers can be removed but you have to manipulate them quite a bit to release them and there are visible notches in the side panels. If you remove the entire insert you could damage the inside edges. You'd have to refinish the inside wall of the box. It''s very solid and made from high-quality materials. Hope this helps.

What is the width of each watch compartment?

Hey there! They can fit 51mm-face watches.
