Moebius Green Lantern 1:10 Scale Model Kit

I had so much fun doing this. I bought it on a whim. I used to do models like this in junior high and high school. Now I’m quarantined to a separate room in my house on my days off and feeling stir crazy. This was perfect and took me back to my childhood. It’s not a difficult kit and made me feel like I accomplished something.

Arrived as described.

This is an excellent kit by Moebius. No deformities, flashing, or anomalies to speak of. The model builds quickly and is highly customizable. The dynamic pose of the display is even more impressive in person. The model can be tailored for any style from a flat, retro, comic book style, to a high-gloss Ryan Reynolds CGI look. For mine, I used Vallejo and Model Master acrylic paints to achieve what I hope is a realistic, but retro comic book look true to the original. The lights were done using thin wires, 3mm LEDs, and a 9v battery in the base.

The model is what I expected

Another very nice model by Moebius. The parts count is small and another kit to bring back child hood memories. The parts are cast very well and there was little to no flash on the sprues. This kit will give you the opportunity to add some lighting to it if you want. A nice addition to anyone's stash.

Great model, took cheap 50 cent craft paint (with proper priming and clear coat) no problem. Hope they make more like it.

fun model to build. i decided to customize it by making the original golden age Mart Nodell Green Lantern. I used cheap craft paint; some epoxy glue and paper ( sprayed with hardware store matte clear coat) to build up the model.

Great model kit. Hardly any seams and lots of detail.
