Brilliant sound quality
I run a Monitor audio system with the Yamaha amp been through several different leads/wires over the years. Just recently moved so I had to replace all the wires. Thought I would try these as seemed to look like a good. They are indeed a good quality lead. they are thick they are the least the size of a, pencil or a pen in diameter, the result is in opinion a better quality sound. I tried it multiple times with the different connections or different leads and every time I hear an important. I could hear a difference between the two so yes I think it’s very good definitely worth it.

Decent
Used for a 5.1 system and works great! Q acoustic speakers and denon amp, cables on a budget, still sounds great!

Incredible upgrade
I recently upgraded my home cinema system with 12-gauge speaker wire, and the difference has been incredible. The thicker gauge ensures excellent sound quality, allowing for clear, crisp audio, even at higher volumes. The bass is deeper, and the overall sound is much more dynamic compared to thinner wires. The build quality is also solid, with durable insulation that makes installation easy and secure. I’ve noticed no signal loss, even with longer runs of wire. If you're serious about getting the best sound from your system, I highly recommend 12-gauge wire for a noticeable audio upgrade!

Amazon Basics Speaker Cable
Apart from being a bit thick and visible, excellent value and easy to install.

Wow, what a quality cable!
I bought this after reading some reviews, my budget no longer stretches to the expensive cables I once bought.I've terminated both ends with 90 degree banana plugs and connected them to my new speakers, I'm no expert, but to my ageing ears, this cable sounds as good as one I paid £10/m for. This is a fantastic cable for the money, highly recommend it

Very good
The cable is exactly as described. As others have pointed out you risk cutting through the coloured cables if you use a stanley knife. The best way to avoid this is to not use a knife but small sharp nail scissors instead by cutting downwards between the black and red cables rather than across. See the photo for what I mean.If you do accidentally cut through the red or black rubber just cover up the exposed wiring with speaker cable tape. Always cut off 10 - 20cm more than you need in case you do mess things up though.I found stripping about 8cm of the outer cable cover at each end made it easy to attach spades or banana plugs with for the right amount of slack.

It is what it is – not good for my intended use – but it is a 5 star product
I've used this wire to attach 3 speakers to an AVR:• Front Left• Center• Front RightI was intending, before I purchased it, to use it for the Left and Right surround channels too.It is too thick/heavy and unsightly to do that in my house – my partner rightfully looked horrified when I suggested it and that reaction was justified. It is stark white, and very thick making it particularly conspicuous when attempting to trail it for any length. It's conspicuous when used for the two front speakers either side of the screen. The centre speaker is ok because it sits on a shelf directly above the AVR and within a unit that obscures the cables at the back... but that required a length of cable around 2 feet long and frankly this reel is far too long for my use case.If you're in a domestic situation I would avoid this and instead look for an alternative "micro" wire with a transparent or markedly less conspicuous thickness that can be more easily pushed under skirting boards etc.As for the cable, if you're in the market for a thick and resilient wiring this is actually a really good product and within the thick outer cover, the sub wires are also well covered and coloured red/black all the way along for easy identification. The cable is on a card spool and was initially covered in thin transparent plastic.Delivery was quick (Prime) and the product is exactly as described – I just didn't realise it was going to be quite a hardy as it actually is – you have to break it in with lots of (probably bad for the wiring) bending. In the end I purchased a more expensive (but cut to length) "micro" wire which was much more suitable for running in the gaps around the edges of the room and fit inside the speaker stands to further obscure it.

Excellent Quality Speaker Wire for A Great Price!
I recently purchased the Amazon Basics 14-Gauge Audio Speaker Wire Cable in the 100-foot length. Let me share my thoughts on this product:Quality: The cable is made of 99.9% oxygen-free copper, which ensures high-quality, undistorted signals. I noticed a significant improvement in sound clarity compared to my previous wire.Durability: The insulated exterior jacket is both strong and flexible, making it easy to route the wire around corners or through tight spaces. It feels robust and well-constructed.Color Coding: The red and black color coding simplifies polarity identification during installation. No more guessing which wire goes where!Convenience: With 100 feet of cable, I had plenty of length to connect my speakers to the A/V receiver without any issues. It’s convenient for larger rooms or setups.Price: At $35.90 (only $0.36 per foot), this speaker wire offers excellent value for its quality. Plus, it’s eligible for free returns within 30 days.In summary, the Amazon Basics 14-Gauge Audio Speaker Wire Cable is a reliable choice for anyone setting up a home theater system or connecting speakers. Whether you’re an audio enthusiast or just want clear sound, this cable won’t disappoint.Highly recommended!Comparison with Similar Items:If you’re looking for an alternative, consider the Monoprice Access Series 14 Gauge AWG CL2 Rated 4 Conductor Speaker Wire/Cable. It’s fire safety rated for in-wall use and comes in a 250-foot length.Remember, good speaker wire can make a noticeable difference in your audio setup!

Great value for 14 gauge
Strong smooth outer shell. Make it super easy to slide through conduit. Outer shell is tough, need to be careful while cutting it, while it's tough to cut with a scissors or wire stripper, I ended up using a box cutter. So easy to slice through and end up cutting into the insulation of the wires within. Wires strip perfectly with a wire stripper; don't end up getting strands coming out when you strip it. This means is exact specifications for the gauge. Fantastic deal. Speakers sound great!
