Handmade Hijab Volumizer Cap Turban Under Scarf Bonnet Shawl Chemo Hair Head Cover Cotton

I am a Jewish scarf wearer. When I was browsing shapers, I liked that this product did not have excessive volume but just enough for a scarf to sit nicely. I bought the black one to try.First, I do not use shapers as far forward on the head as the models in these photos, so the built in velvet band sits on my hair, slightly back on my head, and not on my forehead. Second, I wear heavy scarves or two scarves at a time that dangle down the side of my head.As-is, given how I use shapers and the types of scarves I use, I needed to readjust this product all day. I loved the look and quality of the shaper so I tried again the second day using one of my velvet headbands that go all the way around my head underneath the shaper. It was perfect. It made this shaper stay in the place I wanted it on my head without it slipping off. I just ordered two more shapers and I will be ordering more, as well as recommending this shaper to all my tichel-wearing friends. I find some Jewish shapers far too voluminous, this is just the right amount of volume for my taste.

I have buzzed hair and assumed the model had a typical amount of hair, so I was worried this wouldn't give me as much volume as it appeared to give other women in the product photos and reviews. I was wrong! This is the perfect amount of volume to give my headscarves and turbans a full, rounded shape without being overly dramatic--and the back of my head is pretty flat! I'm ordering another one. The only downside is the fabric is a bit slippery and the volumizer slips back gradually over a couple hours if I'm wearing a heavier wrap that involves more than one scarf. I have to yank it forward once in a while. I think a snug elastic headband would help hold it in place, but buyer beware that you may show a little hair at the front now and again.

Pretty thick. More for winter than warmer seasons.

As described i guess it maybe should only be used by chemo patients, otherwise Prophet peace be upon him has prohibited and said not to make your hijab like that of camel hump.“Sisters with short hair will use hair props or extra large hair bun ties which make the hair look like it has lots of volume and gives the hijaab shape. It's very fashionable these days but of course against our teachings.”

I just began wearing a wrap/turban after losing most of my hair. This addition brings me much joy and makes for a beautiful addition to my wrap. It’s soft and comfortable. I always admired the beautiful wraps that my Muslim and African sisters wear.

My hair is very thin now in my mature age (57), so I wanted a wrap or turban that had volume so my head appear like the picture--like I have thick hair under the turban. However, the volume in this turban is all in one place. You look like you placed a small pot or something on top of your head and pulled the turban over it. It doesn't even come close to giving you the nice, evenly distributed volume as shown in the picture. False advertising!!! I believe the people that like this awful turban and posted good pictures use a wrap with it to even out the volume. So disappointing! I'll have to keep searching.

I was skeptical about getting this, but it’s a great alternative for the more expensive ones.. It stays in place fairly well I do wish there was a little bit of the velvet on top of it just to help hold the scarf and place a little bit more secure but it works great.

It was okay but need more stuffing and need to come down on the head a little better
