GM Genuine Parts 172-2288 (89047726) Front Passenger Side Disc Brake Caliper Assembly

I recently picked up the GM Genuine Parts 172-2288 Brake Caliper for my Chevy, and I have to say, it’s been a game changer. Right out of the box, you can feel the quality. Installing it was straightforward; everything lined up perfectly, and I didn't run into any surprises. After driving with it for a few weeks now, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my braking performance. These are legit calipers. If you are doing a swap on a non cts-v, these are the ones u want. They're legit Brembos. Heads up, there hugeeeeee.

These are beautiful calipers for factory replacements.

You won’t be disappointed with the stopping power you’ll get from these Brembo brake calipers. These came stock on the 04-07 Cadillac CTS-V (and beyond as well as the 14-17 Chevrolet SS sedan and 5th Camaro) and are a perfect bolt-on upgrade for other GM vehicles such as the Pontiac G8 GT pictured here. These calipers are shipped bare so you’ll need pads and a pin kit and mounting bolts. I’d suggest upgrading your brake lines to stainless steel like I did. If you’re adding horsepower you should increase your stopping power which these will most definitely do. They stop on a dime and give 9 cents change.

I bought this for an 09 cts to upgrade the front brakes while keeping the 18" rims did have to modify a bit.

Great alternative to the cost of Tesla front calliper. Just swap the flex line from one side to the other. The fluid port is on the bottom other than that it has the same part number as the OEM
